the game that marked my childhood, rebooted: couldn't wish a better porting on the newest system. The new story involving magolor is also quite good, maybe a bit short and easy, but if u are a "platinum maniac" u can have fun seeking the best score. Highly recommended for everyone, but mainly for the ones that lost the original one on Wii.

Questo remake di Adventure Wii (che è anch'esso da 8) migliora in modo netto la grafica e lo stile, rendendo entrambi migliori, con anche delle buone aggiunte. La storia è rimasta invariata, ma questo non è per forza un male.

Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe is a wonderful Kirby game that will feel both fresh and familiar to veterans and newcomers alike. While it isn’t particularly well-suited to multiplayer gameplay, everything else is as polished as can be, and the new epilogue is some of the most refreshing Kirby gameplay in years.

A remake to one of my favourite games of all time couldn't be bad, in fact, it's even better than the original! The base game its the same as the original but with two new abilities, Sand and Mecha, and after you clear story mode you unlock the BEST thing ever: Magolor Epilogue. Man, I always loved Magolor's character and I've had a really good time playing this side story. The game also offers tons of fun minigames and the other content that the original game also offered. It is a must have for me.

Those who keep a special memory of it since the days of the Wii will appreciate the myriad new features of this Deluxe Edition. Kirby Returns is therefore an excellent platformer and a fun party game; it remains only a bit of disappointment for the absence of online multiplayer especially if we consider the efforts that have been made to expand the multiplayer offer.

The new-old Kirby feels right at home on the Switch, with beautiful graphics, lots of new content that feels like it's always been there, and of course the traditional lighthearted and fun Kirby experience that we love.

Kirby’s Return To Dream Land Deluxe is an utterly charming platformer that serves as a wonderful gateway to the Kirby series’ 2D side. Though it struggles with laughably weak bosses, every second of the story mode is a visual treat; while a wealth of side activities and optional collectibles give Kirby’s latest adventure some welcome depth.

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land is a good game, and by extension, so is Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe. But it’s also a remaster of a game that’s now more than a decade old, which was itself a deliberate effort to return to the series’ roots, and it comes hot on the heels of one of the best—and most creative—games in Kirby’s history. Nostalgia and the series’ innate sense of joy go a long way, but Return to Dream Land Deluxe struggles to step out of the shadow of Kirby’s more recent adventures.

名作をリメイクするにあたって多くの企業は様々なアプローチを加えます。以下WiiDXと呼ばせて頂きますが、グラフィック、操作性、UIや説明などなど。2Dアクションの最高地点ではないでしょうか。リメイク前はもちろん、ストーリーの掘り下げやキャラ造形を絶妙なバランスで明かしていく熊崎ディレクターの手腕が生かされた作品の一つです。既存のボスもHPが増えたり手ごわい新規ボスもいて本作の多彩なコピー能力が活きるのではないでしょうか。新モードのマホロアエピローグは今までにないカービィの”遊び”の可能性を感じます。強いて言うならマホロアランドをオンラインでフレンドと遊べたらな、と思います。欠点はそれだけです。それ以外は完璧。文句殆どなしのリメイクを制作して下さったHAL研究所と任天堂、バンプールに最大限の感謝を。

This game is pretty mediocre, I wouldn't say it's bad but for the price? Not really worth it, but it was still a pretty enjoyable experience tho!
One big problem that I had was that the game's story mode is pretty damn small honestly, well there's still new goodies like the new Epilogue gamemode, it was a bit fun but at the end of the day, the game in my view remains to be a pretty meh game.

TBH a weaker entry in the kirby franchise. I Enjoy elements of the game, but this game unfortunately comes from an era where kirby games were simple cheery 2D platformers.
That's not to say it's bad, but it could be better.

being a kirby game, it's fun and cute and it has some interesting things going on, but the control scheme is just bizarre. it has a dedicated button to go to the minigame area that is just a massive headache. why is entering a door up on the control stick, but we have simple buttons ready to go that are taken up by such redundant controls? when in a level, this isn't a problem, but the game just feels like YET another half assed, full priced nintendo port that didn't even attempt to improve upon the original in any but the most superficial ways.
