Jack Move
Jack Move is almost a curiosity. A JPRG that is barely reaching the 8-hour mark, but at the same time it’s built exactly for that short length. A pocket sized JRPG then for the fans of the genre which may want a short break from the 20, 30, 80 hours epic journeys.
Once again, I am not a fan of J-RPGs personally. However, I didn’t hate my time with Jack Move at all. I would credit this feeling mostly to the art and music. They were certainly excellent. The gameplay while staying true to the J-RPG roots, offers a bit of its own variety. I’m glad it’s a short game because if it were longer, it might’ve overstayed its welcome. I’d suggest Jack Move to anyone wanting to give a short to J-RPGs, since it could be too easy of a game for a fan of the genre.
Jack Move’s ten-hour campaign is sure to please many fans of cyberpunk RPGs. Its short adventure is not only a journey into a futuristic world but also a tribute to games and inventions of past decades. Jack Move is recommendable for those who want a short turn-based game and don’t mind a story full of commonplace twists.

Jack Move has a lot of amazing features to it. It has some great characters, designs and animation. Unfortunately, the game is not as good as the sum of its parts. It’s a bit too short, the gameplay is a bit monotonous and could have used a bit more variety. There is plenty to enjoy, especially for fans of cyberpunk RPGs, but it could have used just a little more.

Amazing cyberpunk-themed turn-based RPG with some decent dialogue going for it. A bit short game (in my case around 12 hours) but definitely fun RPG. Love it!

If you want to play a very good quality JRPG game and not waste 100+ hrs. on that, try Jack Move. Solid story, characters and JRPG mechanics.

Jack Move is an abbreviated JRPG that feels as satisfying as some of the longest classics in the genre. With a great, nuanced battle system and a well-developed cyberpunk world, Jack Move shows that you don’t need 50 hours to deliver a great story with memorable characters. This is a game for fans of the 16-bit era of JRPGs, who should not hesitate to pull the trigger.

Despite being only 9-12 hours long, Jack Move gave me a more fulfilling RPG experience than many 40-50 hour games I’ve played. This game drips with personality in every fiber of its being, and was one of my most enjoyable RPG experiences this year.

A succinct and well-told story, Jack Move’s character-writing and dialogue are endearing, and its pixel art charms. It’s a short and satisfying bitesize JRPG of around 8 hours for players with a bit less time on their hands or perfect in between 100-hour behemoths.

The premise behind this was great and the game would have been pretty good if they just followed through with all the systems and ideas they've implemented. As it stands, they all fall short, from graphics to sound to gameplay. The worst part are the bland characters and sub par story.
