Invincible Presents: Atom Eve is a successful licensed game for a broad audience. It doesn’t do anything wrong regarding its gameplay or presentation, and it’s welcoming enough to Invincible newcomers while still providing returning fans with a new perspective. Invincible Presents: Atom Eve is bare-bones in terms of extras and is on the short side, but those looking for a solid superhero journey of self-discovery could do much worse. It’s made me eager to explore more of the Invincible universe!

Invincible Presents: Atom Eve is a short and sweet game that may get repetitive, but is overall a fun one for newcomers and fans of Invincible. If you have a few hours, I recommend giving it a go.

It was a really nice backstory for adam eve and for the invincible story line. Answered a lot of my questions and raised some new ones.

Invincible Presents: Atom Eve proves to be an enjoyable journey whether you’re familiar with the world of Invincible or not. It’s got good writing, beautiful art, and challenging encounters that really make you think about your actions. Sure, you’ll get more out of it if you’ve read the comics or watched the show, but anyone that appreciates a good visual novel or wants to delve into the life of a teenager with the added burden of super powers will find a lot to love here.

Invincible Presents: Atom Eve is a fun blend of visual novel and combat, with a decent and well-written story and very good artwork alongside. The combat is good too and the whole package really adds to Invincible lore, even if it is not canon.

Invincible Presents: Atom Eve gives the titular hero plenty of room to shine, with a well-written story that highlights how good she is.

Invincible Presents: Atom Eve didn’t change my views on superheroes. I don’t think I’ll start following the Invincibles comics or even seek out more of Eve’s other adventures. I will, however, still be playing Atom Eve to find every interaction and see how Eve’s story changes with my choices with the hope that this isn’t the last such effort we see from Terrible Posture.

The dialogue is snappy and funny, the main characters keep you invested, and it’s cool to see the story of Invincible from another perspective. The only thing it’s lacking is the rawness of the Prime Video series.

Disclaimer: I am not aware of comics/movie storyline. Atom Eve is a game about a female superhero protagonist that combines visual novel style gameplay with small college romance and school style slice of life. The combat aspect of the game is turn based and can be cheesed by seasoned turn based action game/strategy games. There are several characters, some interesting and others treated as filler. Choices you make impact the story, BUT most of time it only changes small dialogue and doesn't affect the progress of the game in the bigger picture.
Individual Ratings:
Characters: 8/10. I love the protagonist and Invincible as they have more detailed story lines and troubled situations. For me personally, this is enough to satisfy me for the most part as the side characters are truly awful such as DupliKate, RexSplode and god forbid the others are all treated as filler to serve a point. Do keep in mind that given the price of the game my expectation were set low and were fulfilled enough.
Art: 7/10. I like it most of the time, but there are some glitches with random lines and just bad drawings entirely but if you focus on the story/action and don't pick apart scenes you are probably not going to notice these too often.
Combat: 8/10. I surprisingly really like the combat and the skills system. Its nothing innovative its a simple turn based action game with a lot of forgettable transitional skills and the amount of skills you earn by the end of the game even when playing it a second time with the XP boost and grinding all XP you can still isn't enough to unlock 2 full trees, which I find as bad design. Now there were some opponents who were either underpowered or overpowered depending on how you designed your character. You might argue why such a high score given the above, I cant explain it but I liked it a lot for what it is and is the main reason I played the game a second time. TIP: energy upgrades are OP.
Story: 6.5/10. The story, although I did expect it, is forgettable, isn't affected by 99% of your choices, and the way it turns around all of a sudden after the 50% completion of the game (people who finished it understand what I mean) is something I dislike in game stories in general. It just didn't transition smoothly to the second part of the game.
Soundtrack: 9/10. I really enjoyed the background music as it really complemented the combat sections. The rest of the music may be forgettable but it certainly matched the tones of the moment. I finished the game twice, first took me 6 hours then a second time in 3 hours due to skipping a lot of the story sections quickly as I remember them from the first playthrough. I don't recommend more than 2 playthroughs in quick succession as the story gets really old really fast. Recommended as a small superhero experience to take a break from other larger story-based or replayable multiplayer games. Definitely worth playing once if you got it for free but would also pay if it was on sale.

I was having fun until the game part of the game started. When you're throwing 5 enemies at me at once and the only offensive skills I have are 'Weak AF punch' and 'Use ALL energy and gimp yourself next round' you better believe I'm gonna be p'd off when the enemy dodges both!

Fairly uninspired visual novel punctuated by tedious combat. Unsure how much "choices matter" beyond some superficial dialogue, but it's not worth the replay to find out.
