One of the best management games around, featuring gaming's best implementation of time travel.

Sovereign Tower is surprising, complex, and beautiful. Its take on Arthurian myth is familiar enough to get players interested yet finds plenty of space for originality. Getting the most out of one’s Knights requires decent planning and good use of limited resources. The art is detailed, and it’s a pleasure to interact with all characters. One or two gameplay systems have a limited impact, and it’s a shame that the game doesn’t feature voice acting. But these are small issues, and any player who likes Arthurian myth or man management will find plenty to love in Sovereign Tower.

I absolutely loved the way Sovereign Tower makes you feel responsible for a bunch of wonderfully dysfunctional knights. The art style is beautiful, the humour is on point, and the amount of secrets and possible outcomes is impressive. The time rewind mechanic is much more than a simple retry button and makes experimenting with your decisions genuinely fun. One of those indie games that keeps surprising you the more you play.

Sovereign Tower is a fun and deep management RPG with great writing and a strong time travel mechanic that pulls at you, for better results or for worse.

It boggles my mind how many branching nexuses I personally encountered, let alone how many there must be in total. The narrative flows like a rocky river under an autumn tree. The falling leaves strike the once smooth surface, sending ripples across its entire span before the flow is disrupted by immovable forces sweeping you into the rapids.

After the preview in January, I came away impressed, entertained and intrigued. The full game has done nothing but deepen my appreciation for the game’s fresh approach to the management and RPG genres. Soverign Knights is charming, cheeky and challenging, with lots of depth and surprises in store at nearly every turn.

While it boasts an interesting and clearly functional premise, Sovereign Tower’s biggest issue is that it unmistakably runs out of steam as the campaign progresses, unable to sustain the creativity found in the opening chapters. The result is an experience that starts out addictive but ultimately reveals the limitations of a product that, while valuable, would have benefited from further refinement.

Sovereign Tower isn't perfect. Some systems could have been explained better, some missions feel less well thought-out than others, and sometimes I get the feeling that the game is holding back information that I'd have liked to have access to as well. But its charm more than makes up for it. It's clever, fun and, above all, very easy to get hooked on; and I went in expecting to play a minor management game with fantasy elements.

Sovereign Tower is such a charming and clever game. The writing is excellent, the characters are memorable, and I quickly found myself genuinely caring about my knights. The mix of management, choices and time manipulation works incredibly well, and discovering new possibilities after rewinding time is really satisfying. A funny, surprisingly deep and very addictive little RPG.

A small Indie game that worth his price.
Great narration and many choices and so much to discover !!
Like Dispatch you can send your knights on missions but with better understanding of their stats and deeper implications.
Hooked from the start I had 18h in one week end.

Very fun managment type of game with a very cool twist. It has humour and emotional depth, catering to fans of the genre.
