The best asymmetrical horror game out today. This game is well balanced unlike its rival dead by daylight. Also this game does not heavily rely on horror legacy characters that exist from nearly every classic horror film to keep a healthy player base. unfortunately this game had a tragic end but this review is from the peak days of 2017. If you did not play this game at launch you will never understand how great it was. It was great before some of the early patches

Sabendo que o jogo ia morrer de vez, com os servidores fechando, decidi revisitar. O jogo foi concebido como multiplayer assimétrico, mas tem também um modo de fases em singleplayer e um modo cabana que funciona como um puzzle que relembra toda a franquia. Esse jogo consegue adaptar a franquia muito bem, com os poderes do Jason e o clima do jogo, até mesmo o teletransporte é transformado em um poder, a gameplay é decente, mas a Ilfonic tem um problema sério com ritmo de jogo, já que, assim como o Predator Hunting Grounds, o jogo tem batalhas bem anticlimáticas, não como Predator, mas ainda sim não se compara a outros jogos do subgênero como DbD ou Evil Dead e espero que acertem no jogo do Killer Klowns. A palavra para definir esse jogo é engessado, as batalhas e as perseguições são desajeitadas e nada é perfeitamente fluido, ainda assim esse jogo conseguiu gerar uma boa impressão, como nos vídeos do Leon e da Nilce ou em como a comunidade abraçou esse jogo. O modo singleplayer é basicamente um conjunto missões, sendo todas situações com alguns NPCs fazendo atividades variadas e o objetivo é assassinar todos, podendo ser realizado de várias maneiras; é uma ótima ideia e funciona muito bem, funciona como puzzles interativos e consegue divertir e representar bem a franquia. Mas ainda assim, o ponto mais alto desse jogo é o modo cabana, um puzzles com partes extremamente complicadas, para que a comunidade resolva, revisitando e celebrando os momentos mais marcantes da franquia. É uma pena que o jogo seja descontinuado por questões legais, no caso a discussão sobre quem detém os direitos ao Jason, acho esse jogo bem confortável para jogar uma partida em sextas feiras 13, mas não acho que se sustentaria ao longo prazo de qualquer maneira. O jogo é aquele tipo de multiplayer que depende de fatores externos para ser divertido, como com quem está jogando, mas que consegue sustentar uma nota 6, não podendo ser diferente para um jogo de Sexta Feira 13, a franquia nota 6 mais legal de todas.

It makes sense to bring up the basic idea and the music since they were taken from the movie and the game is not even made to be competitive. Unlike Dead by Daylight, which I said is not competitive. You buy this game more to support the movie than to play it like a normal game. It can be seen from a post that people didn't even bother with the game. He simply just made a game and that's it. The game doesn't deserve a review because you buy it more from the collection than as a normal game. Not to mention the fact that people made very detailed female forms to make more money from the summer DLC. Conclusion: DBD is better, a little bit **** people who took the DLC to have a better view of the female character. Don't Stop, Grab a Snickers

I originally Played this game with a bunch of friends on the playstation and recently played again. Now it just seems boring and just dead but it used to be one of my favorrite games. I would've give it a 8 or maybe even a 9 back then but sadly it's been too long.

I'ma really big fan of the movies and this gameis great. It has accurate maps characters weapons and finishers are scene from the movies.

Where do I start with this game, I have played this game since 2017 and honestly have put more hours into this then I think any other game I've ever played. The game is simple but does it so well. The game is very balanced as in if you are the counsellors you can either do well or not so well depending on how good you's work together. My only disappointment with this game is that the DLC costume packs were removed from the PSN store meaning those who didn't buy them when they were available have now missed out on the opportunity to purchase them.

Местом действия игры является вымышленный лагерь «Хрустальное Озеро» и ещё несколько локаций из серии фильмов «Пятница, 13-е». События разворачиваются в 1980-е годы. Начал играть с 2019 года, один друг предложил поиграть, как раз была скидка, мы купили, ну и вообщем сразу набрали пати из 8 человек, было круто, тогда я о Джейсоне мало что знал, получается благодаря игра познакомился с франшизой. Что помнится еще из того времени. Так это как же мой друг хорошо отыгрывал психопата, мне аш было страшно да и конечно не помню уже но эта игра пугала меня первые часы так точно, потом часов через 30-50 думаю примерно друзья перестали играть, точнее отваливались. В итоге с тех челом заходили еще, что помнится так это читеры и баги, но щас вроде не встречал багов точно, ну а читеров повезло повезло. Есть сюжетная компания состоящая из 10 миссий, взятых из фильмов частично. Проходится примерно за часа 3, и конечно же виртуальная хижина прям кладезь для фанатов франшизы, на часа 2 там завис, интересно смотреть всё таки после просмотра фильмов) В игре присутствуют джейсоны из всех фильмов, но за Джейсона Х, увы не поиграть, это нечестно было бы, думаю. И несколько выживших тоже некоторые из фильмов, такие как Томми Джарвис, некоторые образом похожи, а какие то придуманы. Кто то даже почернел как понял. Что еще понравилось, это элемент случайности, как повезет, у кого то ключи от машины, у кого аккумулятор а кто то с бензом ходит. Не говоря от такой вещи как предохранитель, а кто то знает место куда его ставить, интересно! Кстати говоря от предохранителе, это одни из 4 вариантов выжить! 1 это продержатся 20 минут, 2 это сбежать на машине, лодке, 3 это убить джейсона ( там особая процедура, опять же нужна скоординированность и 4 это сбежать к полиции. Баланс как по мне, конечно зависит от уровня игрока, но у меня были как легкие катки так и сложные, по обе стороны! И конечно же шанс на выживание зависит от предметов которые вы найдете, такие как несколько оружий и полезных предметов, что мне очень нравится, ну и голосовой чат, это прям феерия, где на Джейсоне мог быть какой то школьник, можно было договорится) Было приятно пообщаться с людьми прям в игре, на удивление было не мало русскоговорящих. Как говорит один мой знакомый, что я собрал детский сад Имени Химика (это про катки на 8 человек, я бы не сказал что пярм детский сад, просто забавная ситуация, да там был один писклявый школьник) В общем и целом как по мне Пятница 13 интереснее чем DBD, там однообразный геймплей, щас создатели сделали игру про Техасскую резню, ну чтож посмотрим сумеет ли она такой же хайп поймать.

There's no really much to talk about it, its a good but " meh " game. Because of the Lawsuits, the game is almost dead and has hacked russian servers.

Playing as Jason is kind of cool, but the game play itself is very boring and repetitive. You just hunt down councilors and try and kill them. You also can't play as a councilor in offline mode. The environment graphics are pretty good, but the skins of people look glossy. Like wet plastic. Online play is not very good. Servers take forever to load. People sometimes quit in the middle of a match. Oh, and there's bugs too. Any ways, I played the game for 2 hrs, and requested a refund. The "only" reason I gave it a 1, is because of Jason. Very bad game. You want Friday the 13th? Just watch the movies. You'll have more fun. 1/10.

At this point I'd say that the game deserve like a 7.5 or an 8. I was curious about this genre from some time ago, I enjoy watching streams of Dead by Deadlight, but the fact that a Friday the 13th was getting a new game made me jump into this one ASAP! I didn't get to play the beta, but I pre-ordered the game and played it as soon as it was available at midnight.. My experience has been great, the game is tons of fun, me and the strangers that I've found on random parties are having a great time doing all kind of jokes, screams, laughs, drama, etc. It has been a wonderful experience. Since last friday I've played 15 hours, that is way too much by my personal standar. I read about the database loggin error that make people ask for refunds a day after it was released and yes, it happened, I got the error but it was not nearly as bad as people was saying. I got that error on Saturday at 11 pm until they fix it on Sunday morning, other than that I've been playing on daily basis and it plays like a charm! The matchmaking works great, no lag, no disconnections so the game launch has been far frmo the hell some users claim. Now onto the game. This is an asymmetrical game, you enter a room with other players, one of you plays Jason and the rest the counselors. The game game generates a random map with different layouts, the cabins, the highway, the boat, the car, etc. Then you have Jason trying to kill them all, while the rest of the players has to escape or survive. This can be achieved by doing different things, and this is one of the differences with Dead by Deadlight, while in that game you have to turn on the generators to open the exit and escape, in Friday the 13th you can escape by car, by boat or calling the police with a radio and running to them, but not before you fix those things, you have to fix it first and the parts are across the whole map. Also you can "win" surviving Jason until the match is over and it is also possible to kill Jason, but that is not easy task, There are different items like your flashlight (always with you), a map, pipes, machetes, pocket knives, gun flares, shotgus, bear traps, etc. and any of those items can be the difference between life or death. On the other side Jason has different skills that make him overpowered (like it should be), most of them are amazing. You will unlock new counselors, the Jason from different movies, etc so there is some character progression, both for the counselors and Jason, and different versions of Jason have different skills. You can also personalize slightly the look of the counselors as you progress. The game is brutal as it should be, Jason's finishers are as gory as it gets, Jason will use his hands or weapons, and also he will use the enviroment, no matter the situation they are very creative with the kills. The game is not perfect tho, it looks good but there are some weird animations, even comical, not sure if someone could be bothered by this, I find it funny, it is one of those weird occations when you don't know if it was on purpose. Being an asymmetrical game every match feels like something new, even when it has the same goals. I hope they expand on this game, they should add customization options, perks, characters, maps, etc. At this point there is the single player campaign confirmed and coming soon, so there is more content comming. I'm having a great time with the game and to be honest it comes as a surprise, I was worried about the game and never thought it could be this fun. Most things are great, some things are rough or not very polished, but the result is really fun. This is comming from an avid gamer and a fan of this franchise. Friday The 13th for the NES in 1989, so I'm very very happy to have another Friday The 13th game after almost 30 years! And that was a mediocre game, because the new one is good and tons of fun!

This game is really really good but it's missing so many things! Need more maps!! I'm tired of the same maps that all look similar Need more characters ! Some more guns and features! If they add more to it I think it will be the perfect game.

The Game is really good, have some bugs but its better then dead by daylight today, have some dlcs but the price is good, the soundtrack,Graphics and, gameplay is good, play as Jason is fantastic, its a bit op, playing as survivor is a bit hard alone, soo stay in a group, for me the game is 10

This is another - No Man's Sky! Full of broken promises and hiding behind a lawsuit. Gun media was quick to pass the game over to - Dark Towers etc and stop and more money from going into this broken mess! They say they can't fix the game because of the lawsuit that has nothing to do with them nor the game, it has to do with the first movie etc etc They claim they can't even fix the stuff that is already in the game like the cars, trees etc but yet the release the game on another system and then a year latter onto another system the Switch. Just save your money and never sent it to this company! By the way this IS the same company that is making - The Predator! So you now know that will be a broken mess as well! Even at the new price of $5.00 PASS!

A shame the plug was pulled on this game due to licensing issues. The games optimization just plain ****. Even on High end rigs its hard to hold 60FPS+ on max settings 1080p. I know what lots of people would say Jason is OP but I think it wouldn't have made sense otherwise. A team based game where surviving isn't guaranteed even working in groups. Do your best to outsmart Jason and escape the area with 3 different escapes and various survivors and abilities. For what it is, it's a fun game especially with friends. I played it solo and still had all that fun. 100 Hours in the game from the first few months and bam, suddenly no more DLC. The plug was pulled and the game is practically dead now outside of a cult following player base or players that played the game for free. 40 bucks definitely was a steep asking price, 20 should've been it. Now I feel this game should be in the cheap section of gaming. Hoping one day this game can get a true DLC revive. I initially could've given this game a 8 because of how the game was running before. Constantly improving and making it more and more fun but officially I'm now at a 5 or 6. It's incomplete and its still a buggy mess that's dead they're trying to sell. I would say unless you have friends to play with, pack it up and pick up another title.

I consider this game one of the best games of 2017, by far. The game can be played various ways depending on which counselor you have and playing as Jason. I actually enjoy the team work of playing as a Counselor. You get a good variety of maps and styles, different Jasons with different abilities and perks and a bunch of camp counselors with different perks and abilities. You can play this game any way you want to. The game can be frustrating. Sometimes luck just is not on your side. I once spawned in a new game and within what seemed like a few seconds Jason was at my location. I've also escaped several times in various ways. You can call the cops and run to them when they arrive, you can fix up a car and drive away, you can take a boat out of there or even kill Jason. Killing Jason is no joke. Very difficult and it should be. At the end of the day, this is a fun horror game that has legit replay value. There is no doubt I will be playing this game years from now. It's a fun game to pull out in October when Halloween is coming.

Abanonware as the devs hide behind a legal dispute. It only prevents new additions, yet the devs refuse to do any work on the massive list of bugs that have been around since early Beta. If that were not bad enough, hackers rule what few servers are still running which the devs also refuse to do anything about.

Buena idea, pero con una ejecución mejorable. Es divertido jugar como Jason buscando víctimas y también hacerlo como superviviente intentando sobrevivir buscando una escapatoria. El problema es que la escasa variedad de acciones y mapas hace que en pocas horas quede poco que pueda sorprender al jugador.

i enjoyed the game a lot more then most people but now that the game provides no more content i think i will only give the game a 3 out of 10, a lot of potential has gone to waste...

I love Friday the 13th: The Game but..I got a MAC and i can't play it on MAC because its a windows kinda game. I would love for it to become a MAC game as well please. If not..thats fine. I would just love to play it again.

Terrible, terrible game. Non dedicated servers, if host disconnects it stops all players **** host is jason and gets frustrated, he just back outs. Toxic community...guess boring games cause this worse than others. Alot of bugs/gltiches/frame rate/lag issues that the developer just ignores SINCE launch. I would steer clear of this developer and this game..they misled customers about a "single player mode" since launch to get you to keep it/buy it, which many thought would be a cool story mode..ended up being a lame vs. bot modes with completely dumb AI whom you can kill in under 5 mins. on the hardest **** and you can only play as **** its pretty lame. No wonder they kept it a secret for so long. Its not worth $15..I wouldnt even play this game for free, and they're still asking $40 for this trash. Steer clear people..those that dont listen, after you buy it, come back and give me a thumbs up because you wish you had listened.

Este juego en un principio es muy divertido y aterrador pero con el tiempo se vuelve simple y predecible, cabe notar que los desarrolladores se fijaron muy bien en la saga de películas para la ambientación y son muy precisos en ciertos aspectos del entorno, carece de un modo historia lo cual me parece un gran desacierto y hubiera preferido pagar mas por un juego con modo historia y online, los bugs abundan y en ocasiones se vuele casi imposible terminar la partida.

Quite the mess I must say. Was released with low amount of content but has gotten better. People are mad because Jason is op,but that was kind of the intention and how it should be. Technically this game still needs tweaking. Graphics are decent especially for the budget. But still a bunch of bugs that need fixing. Can be fun but can still become better. points for the fan service. definitly something for the fan.

The worst game I've ever played. Bug-infested mess, released before it's even complete with completely broken gameplay. If this were free to play it would still be expensive.

While it has many flaws and gets boring after a while, it is a good game for what it is. It's a small game from a small studio which is great for some quick fun in between. The price is a little too high for my opinion but if you can get a discount on steam it's definitely worth buying! You get the feeling of actually being in a horror movie. With a fear mechanic and stumbling and hiding characters. Sadly that said mechanic is still somewhat broken though the developers are constantly improving and tweaking the game and putting out new stuff.

Gran juego, recrea muy bien los escenarios de la película, te mantiene en tensión cuando huyes y disfrutas cuando eres Jason y asesinas a los monitores. Está en desarrollo y poco a poco van aumentado el juego y su catalogo de manera gratuita.

The game currently features very little content for its asking price. Now they are about to go crazy with paid DLC which adds very little to the actual game. I had backed this game prior to release by buying it, Virtual Cabin, clothes and savini jason. Virtual cabin stopped receiving updates the minute they released the game and the clothes DLC was just a couple of bad reskins. They just announced Virtual Cabin 2.0 free with single player, meaning i paid extra for nothing. The game is still buggy as hell and the majority of ingame players seems to be some angry chinese or russian kids of which will rage quit when something they didnt like happens. They will only be happy to verbally annoy you when their attention span drops (very quickly). If you are Jason people will still just rage quit right at the beginning leaving only half the councillors. When you kill players as Jason most of the time they intentionally DC during the kill animation, meaning you have to go through a buggy animation with no character there. Sometimes you lose the XP too (Even though they said they fixed this, they have not). I was struggling to play the game within a couple of weeks. Save your money even if a massive Friday the 13th fan like me. The majority of you will quickly regret buying it.

This game had the opportunity to be REALLY good. Unfortunately, with the games many bugs, I returned the game after only an hour and 1/2 of play. Jason not being able to interact after the latest bug patch is awful. Gun Media and Illfonic's laziness is shameful. And instead of fixing the bugs, they release a cosmetic and emote DLC. And reports of friends of the Devs banning people left and right make me not want to buy this game ever again.

Friday The 13th The Game More connection kills than councilors Friday the 13th is currently and online only competitive 7 v 1 survival game where you play as either Jason or a counselor and you’re thrown into 1 of 3 maps... your goal is to escape, survive or of course kill all of the councilors… Every character has their own advantages and disadvantages.. Their own stats... the character you play as is random every match and you unlock more characters as you level up Asa councilor you start with a flash light and nothing else… you have a mini map but unless you find a map within the game that’s all you have to go off of your goal is to find a nice hiding spot and wait for the timer to go out… call the cops, call in a shotgun wielding hunter character with 1 single bullet to do massive damage, or fix a car or boat and get out of there… around the maps are houses with supplies to fix the phone or one of the cars on the map.. Attempting to do so will throw you into a quick time event where every precious second matters as Jason could be around any corner… being cautious of your noise and fear level as this will make you easier to detect... you can barricade doors and open windows for a quick escape, or even set traps for Jason if he comes smashing through one there are also tons of weapons laying around, though none of them are a true threat to Jason.. Killing Jason is a possibility... but you’ll need to team up with the other councilors to do this, as you’re definitely not doing this on your own... Not even with the single use shotgun weapons are mostly for rescuing other players or stunning Jason to escape... And you can communicate with players using a mic once you find a walkie talkie within the game which is a cool twist The fun part to me comes in the form of playing as Jason.. There are multiple Jason’s to unlock and Just like the counselors each has their own stats... their own strengths and weaknesses... as the match goes on the stronger Jason gets… at first you just have a map, then you unlock a fear censor to see characters running around, a teleportation ability which allows you to dash through the air to pop up right in front of a counselor, useful for catching up to cars and stopping them in their tracks, or catching back up with an enemy after they stun you.. a stalk ability that turns of audio cues that you’re near, and finally a rage mode towards the end of a match that buffs all of your abilities, allows you to run faster and smash down doors with ease… and to kill la councilor you can grab and use a finisher, attack them with a melee weapon or do one of many environmental kills like throwing them through a window… however I found that actually being Jason was far too rare even with him set as my preference I only got to play as him once every hr. and half, matches fly by when you’re the killer, but as the counselor they seem to drag on forever, made worse by the fact you have to stay and watch in case you’re randomly selected to come back in as the hunted character or if you want your xp at the end of the match.. Which awards you points to unlock a new random perk or finish for Jason... you can attach these perks to your characters all with buffs and debuffs, and if you get one you don’t like you can sell it back to the game.. . By biggest issue with this game however is its match making… Creating matches takes a ridiculously long time… and that’s if you’re lucky enough to stay in a lobby without one of the frequent error connections… once in game things are fine.. But actually getting into a game probes to be a bit of an issue on the PlayStation 4… Friday the 13th is an entertaining game for a while... more so when you’re playing as Jason… But constantly playing as counselors I started to get bored with the game fairly quickly, and the server issues left me feeling frustrated when I just wanted to get into a game and play… I give Friday the 13 the game A 6/10

Absolute **** trash Game is glitchy as hell, content repeats itself after you played 3-4 rounds (which are probably less than 2 hours) , devs are **** that ban people randomly , (which is a GAME BAN that is displayed on the profile) and aren't doing anything to fix it "Oh, our game is insanely **** boring and broken?" LET'S ADD EMOTES Fyi this game costs 35€ and has less content than bunch of 5€ games

The developers made over a million dollars through kickstarter and they released the game full of glitches, a gamebreaking bug, faulty gameplay mechanics, freezing, crashes, and did not work for most of first week because of servers. You essentially paid 40 dollars or more if you pre-order and could not play it the first week. And for the console users, especially the xbox vers. people still can't play the game. I don't understand how can you pay full price for a product that doesn't work. They had over millon dollars to make the game and even more with sales. So, how is this ok? If these developers actually cared about their product, they wouldn't have released it in first place until it actually works. You would only release it for more money and use the players as game testers. Also, this game has game breaking bug, where Jason flies out of map and dies. Sometimes it was just hitting jason, using sweater in doorway, grabbing people in fireworks or shooting a flare, and other random reasons. They still haven't fixed just seen recent video of it. There is another random bug where u can't pick up or use items. Onto glitches, there are soooooo many glitches in this game it is ridiculous and they are not just minor graphical glitches. These are invulnerable or hiding spots just waiting out 20min timer. You can trap glitch to rooftops, bridge glitches, glitch into and on top of walls, invulnerable glitches like flying, outhouses, wardrobes, and boats. There is car flipping glitches that happens randomly. In order to get access to other characters, jasons, animated kills, and perks, you have level grind and farm virtual currency. This rewards invulnerable, hiding spot glitchers, teaming with jason, point farmers, and other toxic gameplay. This is fastest way to level for least amount of work. Had they removed mindless game mechanics of leveling and virtual currency gambling slot machine for perks, then there would be no reason for these types of toxic gameplay. Why wait 20mins in glitch spot, point farming, or go invunerable, if game doesn't reward it. You would just be wasting your time. Also, they added -1,000 exp for team killing which is dumb because team killers don't care about leveling. Team killers care about griefing. This only punishes players from trying to save people with shotgun. Now there's no point in risking, which kills the team play. Seems like developers have any clue what they are doing. Lastly, their only consistency is that their patches and updates only seem to make the game worse. The recent patch freezes and crashes more often on loading the game. It's all over forums and even streamers are having same problems. I really don't see how any honest reviewer can give this game 10. When majority of time you are not playing game because you are trying to find a with decent ping, a group who speak english and has a mic, loading game back up because of crashes, or waiting in observer mode 10-20mins because you spawn next to jason with no items and died. Just wait for summer sales and probably the game will be fix by then.

Clunky, boring and just not fun. It's a lame hide and seek game. It's kinda like a Dead by Daylight wannabe, except Dead by Daylight was actually fun. Edit: I got banned because I **** talked one of the developers friends because he was cheating. The developers are like 14 wtf is this.

Apparently the devs have gone on a banning spree against some people who "say mean things" in the game voicechat. As if the game wasn't PEGI 18+, as if the game wasn't about murdering people, as if the game characters didn't have a vocabulary consisting of more than 50% of curse words. A murder game sure isn't the first place I'd think of to build a safe space...

The game was really well developed, have pretty good graphics, one great gameplay and it's possible to play for hours without being bored, especially with friends. 3 maps so far, with the objects in the houses changing every match, as well as the phone house and the vehicles. 11 survivors, each one with different advantages and disadvantage. A lot of movie references and some unique deaths. No rendering issues yet. Jason is very OP. Way more elaborated than Dead By Daylight. Also, it has a single player mode being developed and promise to launch in the summer of 2017 (USA).

This game is a 6 in truth. It's an okay game. Once the DLC content comes out this game could improve. It's fun for like, 2 hours, and then it gets repetitive and boring.

I don't understand how can you pay full price for a product that doesn't work. They had over millon dollars to make the game and even more with sales. So, how is this ok? If these developers actually cared about their product, they wouldn't have released it in first place until it actually works. You would only release it for more money and use the players as game testers. Also, this game has game breaking bug, where Jason flies out of map and dies. Sometimes it was just hitting jason, using sweater in doorway, grabbing people in fireworks or shooting a flare, and other random reasons. They still haven't fixed just seen recent video of it. There is another random bug where u can't pick up or use items. Onto glitches, there are soooooo many glitches in this game it is ridiculous and they are not just minor graphical glitches. These are invulnerable or hiding spots just waiting out 20min timer. You can trap glitch to rooftops, bridge glitches, glitch into and on top of walls, invulnerable glitches like flying, outhouses, wardrobes, and boats. There is car flipping glitches that happens randomly. In order to get access to other characters, jasons, animated kills, and perks, you have level grind and farm virtual currency. This rewards invulnerable, hiding spot glitchers, teaming with jason, point farmers, and other toxic gameplay. This is fastest way to level for least amount of work. Had they removed mindless game mechanics of leveling and virtual currency gambling slot machine for perks, then there would be no reason for these types of toxic gameplay. Why wait 20mins in glitch spot, point farming, or go invunerable, if game doesn't reward it. You would just be wasting your time. Also, they added -1,000 exp for team killing which is dumb because team killers don't care about leveling. Team killers care about griefing. This only punishes players from trying to save people with shotgun. Now there's no point in risking, which kills the team play. Seems like developers have any clue what they are doing. Lastly, their only consistency is that their patches and updates only seem to make the game worse. The recent patch freezes and crashes more often on loading the game. It's all over forums and even streamers are having same problems. I really don't see how any honest reviewer can give this game 10. When majority of time you are not playing game because you are trying to find a with decent ping, a group who speak english and has a mic, loading game back up because of crashes, or waiting in observer mode 10-20mins because you spawn next to jason with no items and died. Just wait for summer sales and probably the game will be fix by then.

I'm an original backer, and huge slasher-flick fan. This game has potential, but the devs are not listening. Bugs galore (although a new patch has helped), horrible facial designs and graphics, troll players, exploits and missing content, promised at backing-stage. All issues I'm pointing out were GLARING during beta testing, however, they are just being addressed now -- weeks after the game release at a $40.00 price tag. They botched it, and while they may fix issues over time and do what they promised, the devs have destroyed their credibility with the community.

Horrible company that bans from their forums anyone who dares criticize their game. One of the killers, which has a unique skill combination, is only available to those who backed the game, providing backers with an unfair advantage. Apart from that, the game itself is okay, despite some big flaws like: 1) no separate queue for killer and counselor, meaning people who don't want to be counselor get assigned to counselor and then just leave, making it a lot harder for the team 2) friends can join as a group with one of them killer, resulting in a very common occurrence of killer being friendly towards some counselors +/- the friend counselors disclosing non-friend counselors location to the killer 3) no text chat or prerecorded voicechat, meaning without a mic you have quite a handicap (and also if you have teammates without a mic, you still have a handicap even if you do have a mic, because teamwork is quite important) 4) various glitches/bugs/exploits. They are being fixed, but others are introduced at the same time (currently, the game tends to freeze/crash about once every 2 hours for me) All in all, not worth $40

The thing about an immersive game for me is to have fun. This game is entirely dependent upon the group you play with as a solid group that actually plays the game makes this game much more enjoyable.

The game is okay, it does get boring though. I honestly regret buying the game, at least with the current state it's in becasue they have so many glitches and it ruins the gameplay. You run into a lot of people that don't have mics and at that point you may as well find another lobby because with no communication it makes winning harder than normal. I wouldn't pay anything over $9.99 for it and if I didn't have more than the time needed for a refund I would of gladly asked for my money back. If the developers will actually fix the glitches and bugs in the game then it has the potential to be a better game, but until then it's not worth it.

Feels clunky, and the gameplay was not executed well, making for a rather boring experience. Not only is the game not too fun, but it lacks content for the price it is asking for anyway.

I thought this was a great idea, enough to invest in their KickStarter a year ago. V excited when I got my download a week ago. Can't even get into a lobby. Can't play off-line. If this was on an Amiga 500 20 years ago I would have thought it was crap. Do not buy for at least a year or until they get a grip of this. Shame on you developers for treating the people who took a gamble to back you in the first place and you turn out not only a dog mess but provide no support to the kickstarters who backed you. Caveat emptor people. The only thing that will kill you in this game is NOT Jason Vorhees - it'll be frustration and boredom and sitting watching a **** awful load screen for hours before the game crashes.
