Has enough substance behind the dazzle to hold off accusations of it being nothing more than a Descent clone in pretty new clothes. Forsaken 64's deathmatch mode is superb, every bit as playable as that of Rare''s Bondage festival. One of the best games of the year!

Forsaken 64 has it all, baby. The game's four player deathmatch could very well be a replacement for those who have overplayed "Goldeneye 007's" multiplayer.

A classic from back then but the single player is forgettable, if entertaining enough. Multiplayer is a blast though, was definitely the attraction of the title

Unique and has cool mechanics, still one of the games from the golden age of shooters.

The single player mode of this puppy is a bit lacking. But if you have friends, and you all should, than this is the best party game since Wheel Of Fortune!

Forsaken is an excellent shoot 'em up.

The unconventional control system can take a short while to get completely accustomed with - being able to rotate and move in any direction can quickly result with up becoming down and players getting disorientated very quickly.

A solid 3D action game for your more-talented-than-average gamer. While the story is a bit irrelevant, the impressive graphics and good single and multiplayer support should help get your money's worth.

A classic case of unrealized potential, Forsaken fails to make significant use of its excellent control and four-player split-screen capability by thrusting you into an endless maze of frustration.

Although sharing the same mechanics as the Playstation version, Forsaken 64 is more of an arcade-style deathmatch shoot 'em up than the Descent-alike exploration of the original. I personally prefer the extra depth of the PS1 version but I can see why others would disagree. They are different, but both are great.

Forsaken 64 is a very ambitious shooter that just doesn't deliver the thrills you may be looking for on the N64. While a decent game, it does nothing to really stand out on a platform with many, many great games.

I understand the multi-player deathmatch is what gives this title it's credibility, but if you don't have friends and play only through the single player campaign this game becomes a frustrating nightmare - truly forsaken. The most objective failure is it's complete lack of a final level and boss; the end is a slightly tweaked tour of levels and bosses you've already beaten. With how endlessly difficult the game is, what a slap in the face to anyone who spent the necessary weeks to make it there with only 5 lives.

I like what they were trying to do with a FPS on a hovering vehicle, but it didn't work out at all. The controls are very confusing and tough to control, and the first person camera and 360 movement is nauseating. Also, a lack of story makes this game even less enjoyable and more confusing to follow.
