It's an amazing technical feat that Nomura's team have pulled off here, and an impressive first foray into the alien world of movie making. Coming from a team that's used to making CG cinemas less than five minutes long, Advent Children is a surprisingly auspicious debut. Here's hoping they do it again.

i like the story but my opinion they put very unnecessary flashbacks, making it confusing, but the fights and the music carried this movie

Una película que narra los sucesos años después del FF VII. La película cumple su cometido aunque es algo confusa por las fumadas del escrito Nojima y los pocos esfuerzos que hacen en explicar el Geostigma, si realmente quieres entender algo debes jugar al FFVII original de lo contrario te va a parecer espectacular pero no vas a entender de la misa ni la mitad. En lo que a mi respecta cuando la vi hace muchos años me pareció bastante fan service e incluso hubo cosas que no me enteraba. Hoy en día que entiendo la historia me parece una auténtica fumada, FF siempre han sido historias de fantasía pero cuando empiezas a meter mundos en el más allá y personajes que te ayudan te das cuenta que el villano tiene todas las de perder y para mi se le pierde un poco la seriedad. Igualmente la película como ova de FF cumple su cometido pero no es ninguna maravilla.

Oh my japanese superheroes with big funky swords and over stylised action scenes. Weirdly bizzare, but interesting story and characters.

If you're a fan of Final Fantasy VII, then this is the next best thing to a full-fledged sequel. If you aren't a fan, you'll still probably agree that it's an amazing visual experience.

It kind of tries to replicate the narrative and aspects of the game but it falls short in almost every one of them, that being said, is an entertaining movie and have some very cool moments. As for the new director's cut, I believe that maybe some aspects are more clear but is also filled with a lot of exposition and is slower, so I prefer the original version better.

Ho fatto l'errore di riguardarlo recentemente ed è stata una perdita di tempo. Un film inutile che serve solo a sfruttare la fama di final fantasy7. A parte Cloud, Vincent e Tifa, gli altri **** del gruppo sono relegati ad una piccola scena con una o due battute a testa, complimenti!

How can you ride from midgar to the ancient village on a motorbike in about an hour when it's on a different continent? Why can all the charters hover in the air during combat? Why isn't anyone using materia in fights? Utterly terrible.
