Despite any criticisms though, Elemental Rage is one of the best experiences you can have if you enjoy a good action-platforming game. The iPad version looks great on the larger screen, but it feels a bit more natural to play on the easier to handle iPhone or iPod touch.

An excellent platformer with a couple of noticeable flaws that we are nonetheless glad to see on the App Store.

A fun action-adventure with good production values, Elemental Rage lacks the polish that defines a truly great game.

Provides several hours of fun, and it's great to see this type of game on the App Store. We think $6.99 is a bit much, but if you're into this type of adventure, it's a solid pickup.

But aside from a boring narrative and some excessive backtracking, the cute art aesthetic and challenging platforming make this a satisfactory experience.
