Doomsday Diner

If you are looking for a quick and satisfying simulation game that offers a blend of calm and chaos, then Doomsday Diner is the perfect game for you. It offers a unique art direction in the genre that leans heavily on the Borderlands series. The gameplay loop is satisfying and keeps things interesting through frantic days. There is a skill ceiling and, unfortunately, also a ceiling to how much time you can spend in this wasteland. The game could benefit from some cosmetic goals, but as it currently stands, Doomsday Diner is a great simulation game that you can play to relax (and stress) over the weekend.

If one wants to play Doomsday Diner, they can easily do so and get paid for it! It is called getting a nine-to-five job. This game is repetitive and stressful. To make matters worse, the physics engine is a mess and the sole reason the game is challenging at all. Add in constant crashes and it is a perfect storm that creates a title so unentertaining that this reviewer had to take breaks to do more enjoyable tasks, such as cleaning. In short, Doomsday Diner is difficult to recommend to anyone but streamers looking for a brief game to play.
