A nice and immediate dungeon crawler that also proves itself to be a challenging title. Featuring some great ideas and a 16-bit look, this game will please many nostalgics. At the same time, we've already seen this kind of games dozens of times.

Gets the 10 for being an alternative to Spelunky. I've been searching for a game that gives you that instant accessibilty/challenge and this does. Wasteland Kings/Rogue legacy being other good games.

As roguelikes go, this game is a little bland. I like how the game is under active development, and maybe some of the issues I had with the game will be improved with time. The combat is almost really fun, but is marred by a few things, the biggest being the gun, which requires pressing *3* buttons simultaneously to fire, and with infinite ammo and lots of damage, results in most of the combat revolving around spamming. Also, the combat in each room might have a brief frenzy but quickly settles down to a drawn-out enemy cleanup. Maybe some people would like the treasure chest being a slot machine, but for me it broke the pacing of the game and was annoying.

This game makes nearly no sense at all and does a horrible job of balance and communication to the player. Really I would not recommend it, even for the diehard roguelike fans out there.
