Funny, packed with entertaining physics and more variety than the first game, but marred by the occasional annoying mission. [Nov 2006, p.84]

Not all the missions are wildly inventive, but the majority are satisfing and entertaining, and each is more fun than the original title's simplistic collection quests.
70
A minor improvement over the original, with just as many silly sci-fi shenanigans.

Almost perfect but I just hate the time this game is set in the "peace and love" time it didn't suit the game to see those idiots with long clothes and cars painted with the skin of colorful flowers. Destroy all humans 1 beats this one up

In the end though, what really makes Crypto-138 stand out from the pack is the combination of solid controls and side-splitting humor. It may not be politically correct, but it's going to keep you entertained.

"Mars Attacks!" meets "GTA" and the result is a game that'll make you laugh like a drain. [Dec 2006, p.72]

It plays nearly identically to the first game, although the new weapons and co-op mode are fun distractions.

In the end, Destroy All Humans! 2 removes all the annoying issues from the first game, but also feels a little too safe in certain instances.
71
Killing foolish earthlings was more fun the first time, but this sarcastic sequel to last year's inventive action game is not without merit or amusement.
70
An average sandbox title with a charismatic anti-hero and hilarious B-movie presentation as its saving grace. And we'll take that.

This game is, to me, nothing more than a sad attempt to cash in on the nominal successes of the first game.

This for a long time was (and probably still is) one of my favorite games of all time. I played a lot as a child and I remember being stuck in Japan for a LONG TIME, when I made it through and arrived in Russia it was one of the most memorable moments magicians of the game world for me. I remember spending hours in a specific part of Russia where 1 mutant was born behind a house, basically with that it was possible to infect civilians and cause a war, this game is really magical. And the co-op mode was also a lot of fun, that system of pulling you closer to your ally made my friend kill himself and me when we went flying off a volcano and ended up falling into the water lol Now I'm waiting for the remake, which is sure to come as Crypto 138 has already appeared in a "recent" trailer from THQ

The single funiest game I have ever played. Also, the needless A.I stupidity is a massive bonus. Anal probing policemen and then launching their corpse 300 feet sums up the game. It's a shame that 1)My ps2 broke 2)The xbox original version is not backwards compatible.

62% I’ve gotta be brutally honest on this one. I’m not a big fan of this game. The first is way better, this is just quite boring
