Delta Force: Land Warrior

If you enjoyed either "Delta Force I" or "II," you'll like this game as well. It is more of the same, with some gameplay, graphic, and multiplayer improvements.

It can't measure up to the likes of "SWAT 3" or "Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear," but Delta Force is a much improved and very fun tactical combat action game.

As dopey as the AI is, it really is a lot of fun to jump into a level where you know that you're completely surrounded and outnumbered and gun the hell out of everything that moves.

If you want subtlety and complexity, Delta Force probably isn't for you, but if you want to mow down terrorists using the latest firearms in a variety of colorful settings, then this is your game.

A far cry from the grittiness of "Rainbow Six."

If you like your games with less thought and more explosions, you'll have fun with Land Warrior. Those expecting another Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six will want to look elsewhere.

As many improvements as the game's developers have made over its predecessors, I only wish they had gone the extra mile and made this game into the top-notch title it could have been.

I've played this game many years ago. This is the game of my childhood. I spent much time in this game with my brother.

Delta Force-Land Warrior is a FPS elite troops based game which contains a number of impressive game-play features in an astonishing small size but with relatively poorer graphics. ADVANTAGES IN DETAIL- First of all, on noticing "Delta Force-Land Warrior"'s size of less than a GB, one will think that the game wont be worth playing and, so did I. But when I played the game,it actually amazed me. The game is filled with a number of features which are usually not present in other FPS games. For example- the feature of selecting one character from a number of different characters with different specialties (female gamers would be quite happy as there are female characters also, to choose from) and the feature of choosing your equipment of different genres from a range of latest weaponry. Sound quality is also good (I am not saying very good.) Missions are relatively easier to understand and complete, however not compromising on the thrill of shooting enemies. DISADVANTAGES IN DETAIL- Though the game-play is quite impressive, it still lacks some basic features like any meter or bar which indicates the life left, and the ability to acquire the weapons of the enemies when they are dead (I personally like the latter feature very much!). The greatest disappointment occurs due its poor graphics as compared to other FPS games. MY (LIVENJOY'S) VIEW- I would say that if game-play concern you more than just graphics (as it does to me!), this game is for you.

Ils en ont fait de ces merdes chez Novalogic ! notamment avec leur série « Delta Force », l’unité de nettoyeurs que l’on dirait échappée de quelque roman refusé de Tom Clancy parce que décidément trop beauf’ et trop débile… En tout cas, si les jeux se veulent réalistes, ils utilisent toujours la lunette déportée lorsqu’on regarde dedans, au lieu de zoomer en plein écran comme dans tous les jeux « normaux » ou dignes de ce nom… Tu parles de réalisme… haimedayhaire ! mais comme d’habitude, les niveaux proposés sont bien trop grands et trop chiants (et trop vides) : on sait qu’ils aiment crapahuter, ces crevards mais tout de même… L’interface est tout en qwerty (putain de jeu américain) et tout en anglais bien entendu ; la disposition des commandes est aberrante, un défaut récurrent dans les Delta daubes : « échap » par exemple donne juste un message vous demandant si vous voulez annuler la mission ! Evidemment, le jeu porte bien mal son âge mais dans ce « Land Warrior », on peut monter jusqu’en 1024×768 et avec un i7, ça tourne ce merdier ! enfin, du peu que j’en ai expérimenté mais le Voxel à l’époque, ça faisait pleurer les processeurs dans les babasses, vu que le Voxel était incompatible avec l’accélération 3D. Comme d’habitude, les « combats » sont tout pourris et pour trouver aussi pourri, aussi naze et aussi emmerdant, il faut se tourner du côté des ultra-daubes de chez Bohemia Interactive, excusez du peu ! Enfin bref, Delta de mon cul, va crapahuter dans la poubelle pour voir !
