Still a horror game, although with a couple strange design choices, and the horrendous inclusion of microtransactions (because god forbid EA makes a game these days that isn’t trying to scam the player out of their money) don’t believe it’s the ‘horrible series-killer’ that everyone makes it out to be; because it is frankly not a bad game. It plays fine, it looks great, the enemies are pretty cool, and the weapons a pretty alright too. This game is definitely underrated, and deserved so much more love for its visceral experience than it received.

Пройдено на PC, случайно нажал на X360. На удивление, довольно хорошая игра. Да, страха уже никакого нет, атмосферности первых частей тоже, но появился бодрый экшн. Врагов стало много, но и оружия заметно прибавилось, изза того, что его можно крафтить и настраивать под свой стиль боя. Я всю игру пробегал с одним и тем же, постепенно улучшая его до максимума. Добавили врагов людей, но они не представляют ничего интересного с т.з. геймплея. Сюжет, правда, не очень интересный, не цепляет как раньше, да и концовка (настоящая), оставляет много вопросов. Графика вроде как улучшилась, но лично я заметил ухудшение в плане освещения - многие небольшие объекты перестали отбрасывать тени, хотя в сиквеле это было. Также пострадали анимации смерти - Айзек просто падает и всё, нет тех вычурных анимаций, что были раньше, сэкономили. Удивила странная система сейвов, когда игра реально сохраняется только на ключевых чекпоинтах, хотя если умрешь, то есть промежуточные. По итогу, пару раз пришлось перепроходить довольно большие куски т.к. чекпоинтов немного. Головоломок немало, и есть весьма заковыристые.
В целом, игра не такая плохая, как о ней отзываются. Да, заточена под кооп и есть миссия, которую соло не пройти, однако никаких сложностей в прохождении не возникало.

An incredibly deep and expanding story and much of the Dead Space feel returning, albeit turned down a little, as well as all the new systems and elements will definitely divide fans, but may be more accessible to newcomers, which is always welcomed with such a rich franchise. Even with the familiarity this delivers a monstrous amount of satisfaction.

Lo finalicé en la Xbox360, en la Playstation 3, luego en Origin, y más **** en PS3 otra vez, además de estar ahora dándole en Steam con un amigo. Sinceramente, es de los mejores de la saga, el segundo me gustó bastante, pero no hay nada como el primero y esta **** primero porque se centra muchisimo en el miedo, aunque tiene cosas arcaicas como lo de los saltos en la gravedad cero y es algo más tosco, pero este tiene todo lo mejor de los dos anteriores. Añadiendo algo más de acción, buenos sustos y buena tensión, sobretodo el argumento, mucho más profundo y con escenas épicas.Creo que la gente lo ha valorado poco, dicen que no es un survival horror, pero lo han mejorado de una manera brillante. Sé que tiene momentos estresantes, como la escalada de la montaña y alguna que otra misión secundaria, pero es único.Recomendado al 100% y lo dice alguien que se lo acabó en tres ocasiones.

Sure Dead Space 3 is familiar, but fans wouldn't have it any other way. If you have been in love since the first entry, then you already probably own this game and don’t need my opinion. On the other hand, if you have played the previous two and weren't sold, there’s nothing that is going to change your mind here to make you a convert, unless of course there’s a marker nearby…

This is a game rife with options and flexibility, building on the strengths of the franchise with clever new ideas that let you tailor the experience to your liking. It hits a few sour notes in its story and struggles at times when it steps away from the core combat, but Dead Space 3 is a thrilling and worthwhile sequel.

For survival horror lovers Dead Space 3 is somewhat of a letdown, with a more action-oriented soul and fewer thrills than the previous games. Its strengths lie in the engaging story, good longevity and co-op implementation, but the series' origins seem a bit lost.

The sense of immersion is about as unparalleled as you can get without an Oculus Rift strapped to your head. But the campaign feels overlong and stretch marks begin to appear towards the end of the roughly 20-hour adventure. This game could have benefited from some strategic dismemberment of its own, performed by a shrewd editor who knows how to sever redundant limbs.

Dead Space 3 is a let down because it’s not a very good action game, and a really substandard horror game. It is devoid of ideas, hung up on laborious combat and obsessed with making even the exciting seem boring. In truth, it’s a bit of a shocker.

I absolutely LOVE THIS GAME!! There's sooooooooo MUCH to do, fighting, puzzles, adventure, weapon creation is amazing. It's like BioShock and Singularity had a smart child and called him/her Dead Space 3!!!! There's a bunch of people online crying, saying, it's not like and 2 at all, not horror enough. Well, me, not being a huge fan of horror games, I'm happy with it. I don't have 1 and 2, went straight to 3 and kinda glad I did now, cuz there's just enough monsters for me. It offers everything I love accept for only 1 thing, stealth/sniper stuff, but I think it's perfect.

"Dead Space 3" is a good action game, but a poor sequel. Unlike the first two, this is NOT survival horror. Instead, it's a third person shooter similar to "Lost Planet" and "Gears of War". Sadly, the game has recycled enemy types that repeat too often. But I do like that you can create your own weapons. Also, the single player sub-missions and the two player co-op missions are nice additions. And finishing the game unlocks several modes that add replay value. Overall, I would rate this with a 7.6 out of 10.

What a disappointment. Take one of my new favorite horror series, and turn it into a co-op Gears of War with microtransactions. There's not much nice I can say about this game. The environment and enemy design I decent I guess, and the side quest feature adds appreciated lore. Unfortunately, this military shooter has nothing scary about it. This game is incredibly easy on even hard difficulties, sapping all tension and fear from the monsters, and the modding system only makes it worse. You can make ridiculously unbalanced weapons, I beat Dead Space 3 on the hardest difficulty using a single weapon the entire playthrough. And the story. It legitimately feel like the writers used the TV Tropes site as a reference. Dead Space 1 had this problem, but 3 blows it up to the max, even ripping off other EA properties for their main antagonists. And despite 3 having way more characters than any previous entry, not a single one am I left with positive impressions, even pre existing characters get ruined. Maybe buy this if it's extremely cheap and you want a game to mess around with your friends on, but don't go in expecting a satisfying sequel or horror game.
