This game is not especially fun but I still enjoy it more than other methods of moderate/high intensity exercise, so I end up playing it a lot regardless. The good: 1. We can customize almost the entire library. 2. There are multiple routines per song, giving us more choices if we love the song but don’t like the moves for some of the routines. 3. The character I select becomes the default and stays that way until I change it, even after turning off the system. The bad: 1. Many of the new dance moves are awkward and annoying to perform. 2. We still have annoying moves that involve turning around in a circle. It’s not fair because it’s hard to master a move when I don’t see the screen part of the time. 3. For practice mode, I want the ability to bulk select and practice only the moves I haven’t passed, as well as the ability to collect moves in it. 4. I would like the ability to hide particular songs I own, like if I get tired of them, didn’t like them in the first place, or if my list of songs is getting too cluttered. 5. I think the game should immediately open up to the list of songs I already have, without there being the current starting menu or featured songs getting in the way to the left. 6. Fitness mode is almost pointless.

The recognition of moves is excellent and DJ Practice Move mode is good. But the game freezes all the time! Moreover saving progress is faulty, so hard work and a lot of time spend on collecting moves is often wasted. Tragedy.

I use this game as my personal trainee. From the beginning it was not much fun, just exercises. But when i learned movements and developers made special mode for training i have enough excitement to keep training regularly and with fun. Awesome.

I rather enjoyed all the music and such with the game. The workout portion works wonders, There's always new routines to do. Personally the people who dislike this game either A can't dance or B become exhausted to frequently. The reason why this is not a 10 out of 10 for me is because when I did multi-player at my home it kept crashing.

First of all, this is not a conventional dance game. “Just Dance 2015” is a conventional dance game or party dance game, you name it. Just goofing around, nothing more. “Dance Central Spotlight” is more of a dance simulator, dance tutorial, your personal dance trainer. And an excellent one. As of today, I’ve played for almost three months in a row and I can honestly say that this game is perfect for me. There’s nothing unnecessary in the game. Just songs, routines and dance moves. Kinect 2.0 works really great. It’s unbelievable. I always thought it was for party games and staff like that. You know, just for fun, nothing more. Nowadays technology gives excellent precision in reading your moves, so if you doing something wrong, game’ll let you know. It’s on par with training in a real dance studio. That’s my honest opinion. And after almost a hundred routines I still stand by it. Routines, learning curve, motion-capturing of dance moves are top-notch. You can slow down at any time and practice any particular move. You want to learn to dance from scratch, you can do that. You want to get in shape, nothing is better then dancing. If you have some experience, like me, you’ll improve your techniques and arsenal of dance moves. Real dance moves that you can use on a dance floor in the club. Of course there are some hitches, like sometimes Kinect loses you with no apparent reason, some of your moves are not counted as «Flawless» and you have no idea why, or song selection screen updating for 3-5 minutes when you start a game. But that’s nothing. I recommend this game to everyone.

Easily the best game that utilizes Kinect technology, Dance Central Spotlight is both excellent and a bit cumbersome as a rhythmic dance game. It's $10 price tag will easily make it worth a gamble investment. The game is definitely meant for families and friends since there's little to reward or engage individual players (other than mastering the material). The promise of expansive DLC that will be available for $2 per track (unless special sales hit the DCS store) is great since you can customize the game soundtrack without paying $50 for a playlist that you may love/hate. Still, $2 a song is a bit steep since you're not getting much. There isn't quite enough DLC at launch to merit a purchase from myself, so the hope that the store explodes quickly is definitely in play for me.

save your money and run! don't look back! kinect AGAIN? crappy MUSIC? same game...every..time. its gone to far! SAVE YOURSELF! its just...every year it seems **** the COD of kinect...a game not worthy of being named A GAME AT ALL! save your money by putting music on while watching muted gameplay and watch how the character in the gameplay dances and copy it!
