Command & Conquer: The Ultimate Collection

Being a diehard C&C fan I am going to love this collection no matter what. I will say that the collection has worked out some kinks with older games on newer OSs (Vista/7), but there are a few things that are irritating. The OST you get doesn't have every C&C song, the ones they give you are great, but you should get them all. Another thing is that some of the older games seem to have a scroll speed issue, like a flick of the mouse will send me across the map. Another irritating thing I noticed is that the Covert Operations doesn't have the extra tracks that originally came with it back in the day. C&C Ultimate collection is great for die-hard C&C fan-boys like me, but other than that, not really worth the buy.

I love the C&C games, all of the originals are phenomenal games and always have been... That said, this game is simply miss-sold. It is sold as "Updated to run on Windows 7+". I am using Windows 7. C&C - Fails to work C&C RA - Fails to work Not tried any of the others yet, but I am sure the later ones will be fine. However I bought an updated version of the game because I wanted to play the games without faffing. Instead, I paid money for the majority of a collection I already own and will have to mess around with game files to get them working again anyway. If at all possible... This should not be required on a game that's apparently been updated... So the review is not for the games themselves... It's for this shoddy release of it and the lies written on the packaging.

At first it worked 100%. Now, on Windows 8.1, Red Alert 2, Yuri's Revenge, Generals, Zero Hour, Tiberium Sun, and FIrestorm won't work. PLEASE fix this ASAP! Its doing it to everyone with Windows 8.1!
