Body of Evidence has a quirky premise for a game, but it doesn't live up to it. It gets repetitive very quickly and new mechanics just make the game more fiddly and in turn more of a chore, murdering your spare time.

This game was simple yet sometimes it's confusing with the lack of direction or an indicator to show progress for extra stuff like cleaning up and such. The ending(s) was(were) a little bit underwhelming. I'm not sure if there's a third ending that I was supposed to get since after the 2nd ending I got 91%. Not sure what else I am missing. The plot was also, confusing and the simple models don't help with memorizing the characters although I liked the different movies and games references.

What Body of Evidence lacks in story, it makes up with fun references to beloved pop culture. The overall presentation stands out with a deliberately dull art style and fantastic music. The gameplay is simple but fits well. However, it does little to stand out from the crowd. As a game, it takes the perfect amount of your time; any less and it would've felt a bit pointless; any more and it would've outstayed its welcome.

SummaryBecome a dead body disposal specialist. As a "cleaner" you need to get rid of the body and make sure there is no evidence left behind. Remember, you're on a clock. Think fast, use proper tools, and don't mess up leave one smear of blood and you're in trouble.
