It sets itself apart from other games within the same genre due to it’s strong focus on characters and character builds, but the same-ness of stages leaves something to be desired. However, due to the limited stages and lack of engaging story it may not be too enticing for those looking for a roguelike with a little more substance.

Very smooth and fun combat and a great variety of characters to choose from. The roguelike aspect of the game is not very well designed in some cases, like for example you get a job room option too often, but that could just be me. However, I loved the mechanic where you enchance the moveset of your characters and add more moves over the course of the run. Highly recommend it.

You don’t need to be a BlazBlue diehard to appreciate BlazBlue Entropy Effect. Its roguelike gameplay features some of the most fun yet complex combinations of button mashing and attack chains. It is far more approachable than most roguelikes I’ve played recently thanks to how it presents complex information to players and gives them opportunities to test out mechanics without relying on trial and error.

I really enjoyed all the hours I spent on this game. I really like unlocking all the different character with all their unique stats and movement.

All in all, BlazBlue Entropy Effect is a fun experience with slick combat. I just wish it felt like the BlazBlue title meant something. Right now, it seems like an unrelated game got put under the BlazBlue umbrella for marketing purposes. Oh well, at least Taokaka is still fun to play.

Blazeblue Entropy Effect is a fantastic action roguelike / metroidvania. The game benefits greatly from carrying over a selection of fighting moves for the featured characters from the Blazeblue fighting games and the heritage of the mainstay fighting game titles. This means the game features some of the best combat you will ever experience in the genre. It lacks some of the depth of the best in the genre but it does feature decent tactical options whereby you can select eight elements (Lightning, Fire, Ice, Blade, Toxin, Light, Umbra, and Generic) and over 200 upgrades. It's fully voice acted, sounds great, has a beautiful art style and silky smooth animations. The game could use more content (hopefully this will still follow), but the core **** game is here and it should take some time to master all the characters. The combat system alone makes the game worth playing. Thank you FGR for this entertaining repack!!!!

Jogo repleto de personagens com um sistema de rogue like futurista. Eu gostei bastante apesar de ser minha primeira vez na saga. Único defeito é ser mais repetitivo que o comum, mas não falta possibilidades de build.
