Assassin's Creed: Origins is the best game in the series, but it's a mediocre action RPG at its core. In this sense, it both succeeds and fails at being a much-needed franchise shakeup.

Origins is the newest installment in rather worn out series and a much appreciated and needed refresh. New combat and graphically fantastic environment with tons of content will gave you some nice moments. The game is not a blast but it is a proof that AC is back on the right track again, for now.

This is the worst game I've ever played; I'm even ashamed to call it a game. It doesn't deserve a single point. All the side stories are the same, the side characters constantly repeat the same "find my husband and rescue him from the same place 15 times" type of scenario. The main character, Bayek, is completely soulless, no different from the other NPCs. The NPCs are equally soulless; like statues standing in the same spot, they give us meaningless, repetitive quests. Only the open world was satisfying.

As beautiful as it is deadly, Origins’ Egyptian playground is finally everything you wanted the Creed to be.

The combat is challenging and thoughtful, and while the loot system doesn’t match up to games like Destiny 2, there are enough different weapon types and enough enemy variety to keep you swapping between weapons, catered to the situation. The RPG elements encourage challenges of their own, and even despite a handful of bugs, I desperately wanted to keep playing.

If you’ve been a fan of the series since the very beginning, let your faith in the series be restored, because Assassin’s Creed Origins is definitely the best title to come out of the popular series in a long time, if not ever.

Origins is a great game that relies heavily on its setting to make an impact on the player. Its gameplay also evolves, and although it still has some of the issues the series have been suffering in the last few entries, it’s definitely a step in the right direction. If you’ve ever been interested in the series, don’t miss this one.

Assassin's Creed: Origins manages to be both experimental and safe. It tries a lot of new things, but it never ventures too far from the Assassin's Creed formula. There's a lot of potential in Origins, and it'll be exciting to see how the new features evolve in future games. Fans of Assassin's Creed should find a lot to like, and it may be time to revisit the battle between the Assassins and the Templars.

Assassin’s Creed: Origins offers an engrossing and deeply satisfying open world in the lands of Egypt. Gorgeous visuals make it a lovely place to explore with rich environments. Still, the excessive amount of bugs at launch are devastating and hampered my experience significantly. Add to that a poorly paced narrative devoid of substantial character development and a battle system that fails to meet its full potential and I can't help but feel something important is missing, Regardless, Assassin's Creed: Origins has a lot to offer new and old fans alike - though the state of its technical performance at launch is highly questionable.

Imposible odiar este juego!!! Es bastante interesante con su historia llevándote al antiguo Egipto como ningún otro juego conocido, como assassins creed es una renovación que debido al juego anterior de la saga se necesitaba, la ambientación es fácilmente una de las mejores y su personaje principal es de los más humanos que han hecho, incluso los fans de la saga quieren verlo de nuevo porque dos dlc no fueron suficientes, lo mejor.

Story of this game is pretty good with countless side mission, where it would take hours to complete them all. But the RPG elements are not something I liked. Syndicate was kind of RPG but at least did it in a way better way that Origins (I am very biased towards Syndicate). Open world seems alright until you realize that Assassin's Creed relies on parkour and stealth. Big city games were way better than this. Yes, ACIV didn't have a big city, but they still pulled it off. Would recommend for the story, not really for the gameplay.

Ubisoft was desperately trying to innovate with this one, the thing is Ubisoft is incapable of making something new. What ended up happening is a shallow tactical approach to the assassin's Creed combat. But hey at least the pyramids got that shiny and smooth sides you can slide on.
