The best game play and mechanics in the entire series. I genuinely loved every second of this game. Most of the puzzles were great, some were annoying and seemed like you were going to get hit or fail a jump regardless, but other than that, its really good. The persona/morph thing seemed gimmicky or overkill at first, but after playing the game they genuinely make the game better and less stale compared to just relying on the same gadgets for the third time in a row. I love all the movie references in this game, the devs are HUGE Terminator and Star Wars fans lol. This soundtrack is absolutely amazing, not better than 1's but definitely 2nd best. Soichi really outdid himself in the studio. Its a perfect mix of his DJ House/Jungle production and BGM skills all at once. First AE game that made me WANT to 100% it. It's animation is a little bit more anime compared to the others, but that added much more charm and fun to it. Lastly, I LOVED Metal Gear Solids involvement with this game, that mini-game was literally like a secret MGS game that no one knows about. Some how Ape Escapes universe is canon in MGS. Crazy lol.

Atualmente, esse jogo não me pega da mesma forma como me pegou quando eu era menor, mas eu nunca vou me esquecer do quão mágico esse jogo era. A mecânica de transformação era a coisa mais sensacional que eu já tinha visto, pena que ela não é explorada no seu potencial máximo. As fases são lindas e memoráveis, as referencias a filmes são fantásticas e aquele mini game do Metal Gear é a cereja no bolo.

Martin A. - I love it! Ape Escape 3 it is not only worth your time, it's worth every penny. There is a new mini game and what an unexpecting mini game it is. Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series makes an appearance and it's not just a cameo either, it's a full level with codec calls! Soichi Terada returns for the soundtrack! Introducing new gadgets that feel necessary, all while changing your attire to boot that is based on the gender that the player chooses in the beginning of the game. The levels are polished and hold up today! This is the only series that I can say that every entry has been better than its predecessor and Ape Escape 3 is no different. I may be giving the series a 9 across the board but as a whole, if I could rate the trilogy. It would be a perfect 10. I give Ape Escape 3 a 9.5 out of 10.

Ape escape 3 is one of ape escape's greatest games and also one Sony's greatest games ever made. Literally everything about it is outstanding. The characters are all well executed and acted, the content from both a quality and quantity standpoint is top-notch, the soundtrack is 2nd only to pumped & primed in how amazing it is, and it all comes to together in a awesome tightly wrapped bow. Regardless of what your stance on ape escape is or platformers in general, find yourself a copy of ape escape 3

i loved this game when i was a kid, i could spend hours playing trying to capture the monkeys! really enjoyable, great game mechanics and honestly better than Ape Escape 2, the only issue that i have with this game are the "boss fights", and that's because they're really similar to those in Ape Escape 2, but that doesn't kill the vibe!

Amazing game with a lot of replayability. This game first introduced me really to moving and looking with analog-sticks as a kid and also just happens to be a great game with a huge amount of content. The minigames are awesome and the extra effort they put into all the levels and little side content is unbeliveable. Most importantly, it's fun in it's core and gives you challenges after the initial playthrough

This is a sorry excuse for a video game. Everytime I see my screen I puke and get hives. the doctors thought it was an allergic reaction, but it was ape escape 3 for the playstation 2. Curse this game as I spit on it's grave. The only good thing this game has done for me is let me miss school because I was too busy puking 4 gallons of butter

This is the best PS2 Game ever, you should definitely play it, if you don't, you'll miss an excelent experience

Simply a perfect game, there's nothing released these days with such account for details with no glitches nor any kind of problems since day 1

Ape Escape 3 is a fun and enjoyable game, though it is a bit childish. You play as either the boy or the girl, going across different areas, catching monkeys with your net. The graphics were very good for its time, and the areas rapidly change. Another fun thing to do is to play the Messal Gear Solid: Snake Escape spin off side mission, which takes you to iconic MGS1 areas like Shadow Moses. Sadly, there is no HD remaster of this game as of yet, so if you haven't kept your PS2, then there is no way to play this game.

Simply put, one of THE BEST PS2 games. Gameplay is fun, ingenious and original level ideas increase hilarity and general fun. The main hub ( Kei & Yumi's back terrace) is an awesome feature, where you can play fun mini games, including a Metal Gear Solid parody. For any gaming fans looking for a different, original and exciting game then this is a must-buy. ( I know PS2 is pretty much extinct but I had to write a review :P)
