The problem with that, of course, is that Amnesia: Memories isn't aiming to be a CYOA mystery, it's trying to be a dating simulator. And call me an old-fashioned romantic, but I'd expect one of those to include people who might be worth dating, not just guys who can't stop calling you stupid. Without those, the whole concept never quite clicks — though if you play your cards right, you may at least get to do some fun gumshoeing before it all ends.
Accessible and enjoyable for both fans and newbies to otome games, this is one love story you won't forget about for a while.
There are moments in the game where I was glued to my Vita but it’s unfortunately offset by some really annoying characters whose actions and words really got on my wick and only helped to undermine what is a pretty moving and poignant story.

Nearly all ML (Male Lead) are red flags, even in the good routes. If bad-turning-good or making them worse is your thing, then this is for you. If not then this is rather boring. The art looks good though and the designs fit the card-theme pretty well.

I played this because it was included as part of the instant game **** first story was awesome it has a police-investigation taste that was really enjoyable. After that I get bored of the game... It is more of a soap opera story. I just finished it and obtained the platinum. Recommended if you are the reader type kind of player.

I love the game. It has great stories that depends on your choices and the gameplay is pretty simple. I certainly would play if there was a continuation of the game. The only thing I think that lacked is a little more scenarios and more pictures with some action.

A pleasure to play, the game gives heartfelt emotion as well as frivolity throughout, earning its status as one of the best visual novels that the Vita has to offer.

I greatly enjoyed playing this game. The story is genuinely interesting and all the choices you have to make can require a good deal of thought. The characters/writing are charming. Everybody has both good and bad sides, and the mushy romance scenes had me laughing, swooning, etc. Great game, and an all right introduction to the genre. It's difficult to get the good endings, but in the end it's worth it.

Halfway between a visual novel and a dating sim, it's a relaxing experience, but don't expect too much from the narrative depth.

While its story is clever, well-constructed, and filled with some great moments, Amnesia: Memories encourages players to not question or challenge the mistreatment they experience at the hands of their romantic interests, ultimately undercutting a lot of its standout moments.

“Cute” just about sums up Amnesia: Memories. It’s got a light tone, lots of warm moments, and above-average production values. If you’re the sort of person who enjoys dating sims, and you’re in the mood for something airy, goofy, and kind of mindless, this might be just the ticket...If not, this is a pretty tame and unsubstantial entry in the visual novel genre.

Amnesia: Memories is really well made otome visual novel. The story is entertaining enough to keep you reading for many hours without interrupting. Graphic art looks great and gameplay is quite typical for VN. There is common choice system with a little bit addition in form of mini games (rock-scissor-paper and ice-hockey). I am really glad that Amnesia is story > romance, like good otome novel should be (romance part is quite interesting here as well though) :). Not the best VN, but definitely one of the very good ones and worthy to read! Graphic - 9 Gameplay - 8 Lasting Appeal - 7 Execution - 7 Overall - 7,75
