Almost flawless. Just when i thought the series could not get any better, of course rocksteady proves me wrong. the game improves in almost every aspect of the previous game. The combat is more fluid and the graphics are better. The storyline captivates you and keeps you coming back for more. There is so much to do in arkham city with all the side missions and the riddles now with over 400 riddles. But now you need to access enough riddles to save the hostages that Edward Enigma took. The game is full of easter eggs that tie into the first game and its a blast trying to find them. The challenge maps are extremely fun yet difficult. The DLC is great even though harley quinns revenge was kind of a disappointment. overall this is one of the best games i have ever played and it will go down as one of my favorite games of all time. Any person that gave a negative review is a hater and likes the game vampire rain.

starhawk is a cool unique twist game compared to the typical online players. Its no secret that the multiplayer is the best part of this game. The multiplayer shows its roots from the developers original ps3 game war hawk however it has some good new additions as well. The building aspect of the game is really cool where players can choose what they want to build and how it will change the pace of the game. The hawks don't dominate the game like war hawk did however if certain things are blocked by the creator of the game it can occur that way. But the single player of the game is a drawn out tutorial for the multiplayer and i have trouble caring about it. The AI is crazy stupid and will make you fail missions if you let them drive razorbacks or anything of that sort. But overall, star hawk is a fun unique change in the types of games you play and it a fun entertaining multiplayer game that i suggest you add to your gaming library.

I can't believe super heroes finally got a game they deserve. Theres no denying that games based off movies or games based off super heroes have been pretty mediocre, but this one breaks the stereotype. This game is one of the best games that i have ever played. First off i was surprised how deep into the batman comics they really went with adding not only the major batman villains but all the minor ones in the comic books as well. With the combat scheme working well and make you seem like your taking on a an army but it doesn't feel like your being swamped and just double to triple teamed. It is a good mixture from that aspect. Not only does the game have a good story line where Batman goes through a night of hell but theres also the riddler challenges as well as the challenge maps that will keep you occupied once you beat the story. The character bios are a great addition and i personally love the patient interview tapes that have recordings of doctor patient interviews of batmans foes. Another amazing aspect of this game is the looks of it and the minor details thrown into the game to make it that much better such as bat mans cape changing showing the journey you been throughout the night. The dark looks make this game seem very dark which resembles the batman comics more than the movies. Overall it is one of the best games i have ever played.

Its game like these that make me love ps3 over xbox. The 360 just does not have the firepower of the exclusives that the ps3 has and god of war is a perfect example of this. This game is one of the best looking games i have ever seen and is also one of the most unique games you'll play. For those of you who do not know the story i will explain without spoiling. You play Kratos who is a former god of war after killing Ares the previous god of war in the first game. You were told by the gods to kill him in return for the ability to forget the moment where you went insane and killed your wife and daughter. Once you kill him you are named the new god of war but Zeus did not keep his word and now its your turn for revenge. The game starts out where you are climbing Mt. Olympus with the living trees where the first god you face is Posiden. At this moment i knew it was going to be a magical game because of the graphics and how the combat was so smooth. This is one of the best storyline based games and always provides a challenge with the Uncharted like riddles and many different types of enemies. The tie into the greek mythology is another reason why i love this game as you are dealing with things that you learned about. It kind of has that history aspect like Assassins Creed and Uncharted, both good storyline based games. Overall it is one of the best games on the ps3 and all i have to say is to xbox fans, its a shame your missing out.

Resistance has always been one of my favorite series on the ps3. I have been a fan since resistance was the first major FPS multiplayer on the ps3. Then came resistance 2, where the single player storyline was amazing but the multiplayer lacked greatly, They modified the best game modes from the first game and made them significantly worse. They took out the weapon damage modifier where it now feels like I'm playing halo. Now to the 3rd of the series. For starters i will come out and say its the most well rounded game of the series. The single player was a good way to end the series and the multiplayer was still not as good as the first, but an improvement from the 2nd. The series conclusion left me hanging off the edge of my seat while playing the final level and throughout the entire story. There are some amazing cut scenes which is a little new to the other games for there weren't too many that brought emotion out of me like this game The different types of enemies keep you interested in the game as well as the many different types of weapons. Unlike Call of Duty where your just killing soldiers in Resistance you have different types of soldiers where you have to change your strategy in order to have a better chance of killing the chimera. The graphics of the game are as good as they have been although there wasn't any wow moments like the moment of San Francisco in R2. Now to the multiplayer, although i was upset its ranged away from the multiplayer in the first resistance, i will settle on this multiplayer. For starters it takes less time to kill enemies which i think is a much better approach, Insomniac decided to keep the humans vs. the chimera like in R2 which i do not mind but i also do wish that there was a custom game option where you could do humans vs humans and change the damage like in Resistance Fall of Man. But in conclusion, the game is a good game to end the fabulous series which was one of the most entertaining ps3 exclusives along with uncharted, infamous, and god of war. I suggest this game to anyone who has played the previous games of this great series.

You have to have a lot of balls to compete with grand theft auto. And the developers of Saints Row have balls. Saints Row newest installment is the best of the series in my opinion and competes very well with grand theft auto. These type of games are without question the most controversial games on the market, but yet the most fun. The customization is so broad in this game unlike where grand theft auto has restrictions. Now even though the graphics aren't that good, i don't care as long as i get to beat up a hooker with a **** bat. The game is so over the top and one of the most amusing games on the market. I strongly suggest this game if your into the grand theft auto like games because this game will provide hours and hours of entertainment. Possibly the most underrated game of 2011

Best game on the ps3. There isn't even a contest when it comes to which series or game dominates the ps3 and Uncharted showcased there power with the most recent game. The story line of the game is the best of any game and Naughty dog had a lot of work to do being that Uncharted 2 was the undisputed game of the year. And they delivered, the beauty of the game is unbelievable and the storyline is the best that it has been. The gameplay is smooth yet difficult at times towards the end, but good games have challenges. The ship scene as well as the desert levels are absolutely beautiful. The story line will capture you and pull emotion out of you which is difficult to do sometimes. The multiplayer is a unique one and its always nice to play it since most of the games anymore are just first person shooters. In conclusion, Uncharted's possible final game on the ps3 captured fans and delivered one of the best gaming experiences ps3 users have had.

I couldn't help but notice a lot of the users writing mediocre reviews on this game so i thought i would pitch in and give my opinion. Ubisofts biggest series is back with there 4th installment of the series which ties in the two assassins in the series where Ezio is trying to find library of knowledge of his ancestor Alteir. Im not going to spoil anything so i will continue on saying the gameplay mechanics are the best we've seen in an assassins creed series. The combat scenes are more smooth than we have seen and it makes the game flow nicely. The game is a good mixture of the story line like AC2 and the assassin order concept which debuted in the game brotherhood. Overall the series is one of the best storyline based games out on the market. Even though people are saying the concept is getting old, i beg to differ, because true fans love the concept and want the series to keep producing amazing games instead of taking a risk and possibly ruining the entire series. The storyline of this game is possibly the best of the series with it producing one of the biggest WOW factors. The past 3 games have had amazing endings with this one not disappointing fans. This is also the second AC game with multiplayer. While the game is meant to be played for the storyline the multiplayer is an awesome add on and i look forward to see how they continue with it with Assassins Creed 3 which was recently announced and further AC games to come. Overall, while users can complain about how there aren't any new features and stuff like that, there shouldn't be, the time period of the games is too small for them to make any major advancements and it could tarnish the story if they try that. If i had one complaint on the game i would complain about the new tower defense game added to the game. It was impossible and just dumb in my opinion. But besides that this shows the amazing game that Ubisoft has and i can't wait to see what there still is to be shown for us Assassins lovers.

COD fanboys, get ready because this one is going to sting. The Call of Duty series is back trying to restore the name of Call of Duty after what the past few games have been known as let downs. Spoiler alert: they failed. But first the good things about the game. While COD is the best selling game in history it is still one of the only FPS to run at 60 frames per second, this gives an opportunity for COD to have a fast paced shooter filled with running and gunning. But yet all anyone does in this game is camp.... pity. but anyways the campaign that ended the modern warfare series was actually quite enjoyable but yet short. Now for the bad, still listening fanboys? COD has tried to use the same system over and over again but with more upgrades from the standard COD 4 game (the best cod ever) and its really starting to show. Its a shame they made a couple billion dollars with essentially an expansion pack. All this game feels like is modern warfare 2 with new maps, a few new weapons and features. The online community makes the online experience one of the most frustrating in gaming along with demon souls and ninja gaiden (games that are so hard its pointless for people who haven't played them). COD has turned into the mainstream game for all the kids out there. Its a lot like NIKE anymore, people buy it because its NIKE, the name of the brand means more than the quality of it. and while there are better FPS games out there COD will still be the best seller because the fan base is brand committed. Sorry COD but you lost a lot of your long time fans with your recent installments and I'm contimplating not buying the new cod when it comes out because I'm tired of being disappointed and then going on to play a real shooter like Battlefield.

While the improvements made in the FIFA series in FIFA 12 from FIFA 11 make the game seem way more realistic and fun, there are some consequences for that. FIFA is back with yet another beautiful game with an all new physics engine which showcases more realistic collisions with players and more realistic ball movement. Any player moving from FIFA 11 to FIFA 12 is in for a big wake up call however, for the entire defensive side of the ball is changed with manual tackles required and no longer a full press with the click of a button. The players ranges in FIFA 12 are much more noticeably longer for there a lot more goals from outside the box. Any FIFA 11 player is going to have trouble dealing with the new defensive scheme for there are barely any instruction besides the small tutorial at the beginning of the game. This has been a recurring issue for the FIFA series to me, there has never been an in depth tutorial on any of the new aspects added to the game which leaves the gamer to basically figure it out on there own. Old time FIFA players like myself had trouble dealing with the defensive change just like the new pk style change in the previous FIFA's. Besides the new defensive scheme EA also added a cup challenge which is kind of like a tournament that you work your way through in order to reach a cup based on the division you are in. The division style is a lot like the skill level in the previous FIFA's but the cup challenge is a totally new aspect of the series. I think it is a great addition to the series, if only they could build a campaign worth play (hint to EA members :) ) Overall FIFA 12 shows us why it is still one of the best sports games out there even though it might take you some time before you can pull your own messi moment online.

Look out Call of Duty, there is a new game looking to take the first person shooter throne. The Battlefield series is back with a new frostbite 2.0 system that will make building collapses and surroundings more realistic than ever. This game is as close to a war simulator as we've seen. One of Battlefields most impressive features is the sound effects within the games of the guns as well as incoming bullets and vehicles. The graphics are far superior to any shooter out there today and while the COD fans can **** and say its better, there mistaken. The online experience is by far Battlefields best feature with the intense game modes such as rush and conquest making returns. It is a real mans game while COD seems to be for the little kids. Battlefield had some trash talking going on with the Infinity Ward studio and Activision before the release of the two games and while Battlefield backed it up, Call of Duty stumbled. While there are some complaints in the game, such as the weak 4 hour campaign, and trouble connecting with friends sometimes on the EA dedicated servers. The games pros far exceed the cons and it is what i believe to be the BEST first person shooter out on the market. The Call of Duty fans can cry all they want but there overrated overplayed "everyones doing it" game got beat bad by Battlefield 3.

While it is a big improvement from the previous UFC games. It still seems to be missing something. When most gamers look to grab a game and play it they look for replay value and how amusing the game is. And while UFC is appealing for the first couple matches it gets quite old as time goes on. There is no replay value and after a few fights you will be sure to put it in the old game collection and let it collect dust. The controls for new players take time for players to fully learn which can be quite frustrating. While the gameplay improvements are noticeable from the others, its not one of those games that i will brag about to friends or co workers. With that being said i give the game a lower rating since the game has little to no replay value. it is not worth the price or the time.

It felt so good to sit down and play one of the best platform series to ever come out. And with platformers going out of style it really felt like a time warp then touched back to my childhood games. Jak and Daxter was an extremely fun plat former that i played for hours and hours. The Precursor Legacy is a classic ps2 game that will go down as one of my favorite games of all time. The levels are extremely fun and sometimes difficult to ensure constant playing. As the story progresses the boss battles become harder and harder to ensure the game does not become boring of any means. Once you complete the story line the replay value is extremely high as you have the option of going for scout flies, precursor orbs, and power cells. Trophy hunters will go through an extremely frustrating time trying to find all the precursor orbs for some are difficult to find and even more difficult to get. Now on to Jak 2, Jak 2 is the least favorite of the series for me for it takes an extremely dark twist into a more mature jak that has been infested with dark ego, navigating through the city can sometimes be extremely frustrating and the introduction of guns and is a cool twist to the Jak series. To avoid any spoilers i will move on to Jak 3, Jak 3 in my opinion was an improvement to the Jak 2 idea and was more what Naughty Dog had in mind. There are plenty of more vehicles to choose from which is always good to add choice to a game like this. Overall the hd collection is a great throwback to 3 great ps2 games that remind us of the good times where platforming games were in. In the growing gaming community where first person shooters are becoming the norm, it is a good switch that will keep you amused for weeks.

This game is absolutely beautiful. The game is by far the most graphically advanced show over the past years. The crowd has never look better and even some of the counters on the stadiums work (for example the bucco blasts at pnc count the amount of home runs hit in a franchise). The commentary is just about as good as last years model and it uses some of the same calls from the past years. However there are a few mixed things about the game. The game occasionally freezes a bit in-between pitches or swinging at pitches, but more importantly the game is extremely hard. Sometimes you can guess the pitch and the location with perfect contact and timing and ground out to second base, and other times you will hit a home run. The computer never ceases to amaze me sometimes where it will hit a fastball perfectly painted on the low outside corner out of the park like its nothing. And even the infamous 9th inning 4 run comeback that started to occur in last years model. While the computer winning games in franchise no matter what you do is frustrating i can not tell if i like it or not. In most sports games the ai is so bad you never really have to worry about losing games, but in the show its different where the computer will occasionally put up a really tough fight and eventually win the game. Ive noticed that these the two mixed user reviews are about this. If you want to go 162-0 in franchise then this game is not for you. But if you want an extremely accurate and fun sports game then you picked a winner because the show is by far one of the best sports games out there.
