One of the best RPG that I have played in a long time. Great game. It gets better with everyone patch. The developer team takes feedback seriously. I would give this game a 12/10 if I could.

I won't list all the bad about the game. You can read other reviews and everyone is saying the same thing. This is nothing but DA:I in space. Same thing every planet. I think the thing that really got me was EA having to make a political statement in this game. I am so tired of politics, I play games to forget them, not have it stuffed down my throat. The game gets a 2 for world design. No amount of patching can fix everything.

No amount of modding can fix this game! It is a shell, all the missing parts of the fallout franchise are missing. No skills, No reputation, No Dialog! This is the worst game I have purchased in the last 10 years. No longer a fan of Bethesda, why are we supporting companies like this.

Lux Delux was a at one time a good alternative to risk. I have had it for a number of years. Now I am finally uninstalling it. The latest update is using the "loaded dice" type of AI. Example if i attack an enemy with 2 armies and I have 4,5 or 6 armies i will loose 80% of the time now. I was just playing and attacked an enemy with 9 armies to their 3 and lost all 9 armies with them loosing one. I then watched the enemy with 17 armies roll over my 10 armies while loosing 2. Stay away from this game now.

UPDATE 12/10/2104 Few notes to add. "Will I play it again? Yes" Well I was wrong.... NO I said in my review below I probably would finish the game. I have not been able to do that. The game is so boring, same thing over and over and over. No flow. It feels like it was a cheap fast way to make a game. If each of the different zones had different quest, and/or a themed storyline it would have been far better. I cant get passed the constant click, click, click battle either. I no longer need to buy the game for my granddaughter or my son. I let them get on my computer and they played for about a couple of hours each. That's all it took. Both had loved the dragon age series before this. ----- REVIEW ----- I have over 40 hours played with this game, and I just had to stop. It became boring. The “different worlds” where the same things over and over. Will I play it again? Yes, in all fairness when I feel like hacking and slashing to pass time, I will. It's the flow of the game. Dragon Age Origins was fantastic and the flow of the game would always keep you playing. The flow in Dragon Age Inquisition is not there. As dendygar put it. TO MUCH SKYRIM and NOT ENOUGH ORIGINS. I give Dragon Age Inquisition a 0/10. I will get to that below. THIS IS MY OPINION. As a game in itself it plays like a single player MMO. The zones are graphical different but the quest and collections are the same thing. Find Shards, Solve the Astrarium (this is cool, sort of a rip off of Skrym), and numerous other collections. The story basically starts crawling after you get to the war table. If a tedious hack and slash game is what you like then this game is for you. Every zone is repetitive. So for this type of game I would rate it a 5/10, the 5 would be a 7 but the PC Controls are awful. My breakdown of the game as a sequel to Dragon Age. 0/10 Does not feel like a Dragon Age story at all. This is not an RPG. It is a single player MMO. As stated above the story crawls after you enter the war room. Each of the open worlds are beautiful (sword coast ) but they have the same theme as stated above. Collect these, Find these, and solve this. No Major cities that I have come across yet. Its all open worlds. The only major city is just a place for merchants and has very little area to it. I can not recall the name of it. Having to scan for object. That is correct in order to find somethings you have to hit a key and scan for them. Some quest like find the wardens do this and the Beer bottle collections? Again this is my opinion I just don't like having to search and scan for things. The PC interface as stated above is awful. Dragon Age Origins was for the PC. Now it seems EA/Bioware is giving the PC market the back seat. Mages can no longer heal, instead they have a “wall” like buff. You have to rely on potions. You no longer get points to put up character stats. Your stats go up according to the skills you pick. Combat is the same thing over and over. No auto attack so you just sit there and click and click. Mouse. You can not loot select or do anything with it. Plastic Hair, Cartoon Portrait HUD and a Green Hand portrait for you. In a realistic world this really takes away from the game. It looks like the ripped the hair textures off an 80s game. Then took maybe a few weeks to make the Party HUD. So you have a cartoonish HUD over a realistic world. Multi-player is not cooperative, it has nothing to do with the story. You are unable to play through the story with your friend

Update. Can't explain it much, tired of using the same old skills day after day after day. Tired of no real market except in guilds. Really? You could not add a market in fighters guild, mages guild etc. You put in the guilds hands?. Needless to say my score is now a 4. You will play for a month and then it becomes quite dull. Apr 10, 2014 9 The Elder Scrolls Online Image Excellent game. At first I wasn't interested it seemed it was going to be boring. However once you start to learn all the mechanics it becomes quite fun. I love saving a "town" to have it become a thriving community. Crafting takes a bit, but is not tedious. The only reason I am giving them a nine, is because I have contacted support numerous times and my issue has not been resolved. The game itself is great, but I can see support might kill it

Aug 2014. UBISOFT flat out LIED and MISLEAD fans about making their own mods for the game. Yeah you could for $1000.00. They then announced they were no longer going to do anything with Might & Magic X Legacy. Money well spent again on a lame company. Needless to say did not care and had them erase my account as I will not buy anything from a company that gets away with false advertisement. The only dlc they added was a huge joke that nobody could beat! Good luck when you go bankrupt for treating your customers the way you did.

Stay away from this game. The dice rolls are impossible. You can loose with 20 to 7 armies. This happens a lot. The computer AI on other hand can just run through your countries with ease. The computer AI also seems to end up with matches way more than you.

The GOOD. As expected the game has tons of content with 5 playable characters. Tinker Mage, Shaman, Shadow Walker, Blademaster and Sorcerer. The graphics are old style but that does not take away from game. Good story line, with lots of lore to read. The Bad a. Monsters/NPC are cleaving party members up to 3 or 4 spaces away. I am not sure if this is a bug. b. Lots of items drop or can be found. However a large quantity of it is useless and cant be sold. c. I don't want to add spoiler but there is a certain boss that melee characters can not go toe to toe with. d. Monster/NPC Health seems a bit off on certain ones. e. The need to purchase skills you don't want in order to raise ones you want. This is frustrating as you are limited in the points. f. VITALITY. You really have no choice but to take lots of endurance. If you don't your vitality will run out and you with either be forced to buy vitality potions or run back to Avadon to restore it. With that being said a lot of the spiderweb software games have been fun. I am probably comparing this to Avernum: Escape from the pit. Compared to Avernum, Avadon needs a lot more polishing.

The game has very nice graphics. How ever it just becomes boring and a chore to play after a bit. I did not last a month with it. if you like repetition over and over then this game is for you. I tried to play a conjurer (healing class), apparently I was not too good at it. Skills are boring. As a healer when I got heal 2 I could not use it as I ran out of mana healing. What did not make sense is your skills like heal 1 would heal for the same amount but each level you attained the cost to cast it went up. This game wasn't for me. I give it a 3 because the graphics were really good.
