this is my first metroid game and i really enjoyed it, it feels amazing to play. the controls are smooth and fast, and all the new moves are cool. the emmi levels are good, especially the first few encounters that made by heart pound faster then ever. but they lose that feeling when you get more into the game and unlock new stuff. and i wish the environments varied a bit more, every level looked exactly the same and for a game that makes you constantly go back and fourth between these levels it gets a bit boring revisiting the same environments. the boss fights are surprisingly challenging especially for someone who’s not used to 2d platforming. all the music is great and the game sounds great. overall it’s good.

typical ubisoft trash, and such wasted potential with the breaking bad guy. repetive, looks like a 2012 game, 0 originality.

there was no horror aspect really which i was disappointed with, and the boss fights were meh, also ethans character continues to be garbage. Other than that’s it’s a good game.

The story wasn’t amazing but it was enjoyable and some parts were great. But other than that holy **** the game is great. The combat is amazing, the atmosphere is beautiful and the photo mode is the best I’ve seen. The game has it’s flaws but overall is a great experience and I highly recommend you get the game.

don’t listen to the brain dead critics, this is an amazing and beautiful remake that totally capsules the original and what made it amazing. And the new multiplayer mode adds some fun new challenge. It sure isn’t for everyone but people who love the franchise or loved the original will no doubt love this game.
