Twisted Metal: Season 17
Aug 2, 2023
the show is actually very good, it's funny, LOVED all the main and secondary characters. which is crazy because i always hate at least somebody. loved the backstories. i totally wasn't expecting that since the trailers looked awful. yes, the show is probably very cheap and it is campy but it actually works, since the whole world went insane. also, hell yeah ball pit. also, hell yeah faith no more.

The Witcher: Blood Origin3

well i think it's definetely not as bad as everyone here writes. sure, it's cringy, but it's just generic fantasy, not nearly as interesting as original, just like 'the rings of power'. but it's in poor taste review bomb a show just because it's not your cup of tea. that's just a mediocre piece of garbage but it's not that different from witcher or rings of power or wheel of time. that's because most of modern shows and movies taste very much the same. woke boring political messaging, generic plot, themes that appeal to everyone and no one in the end

His Dark Materials: Season 32

couldn't expect in 2019 how can this exceptional, original piece go downfall this fast. first season was amazing (well, by tv standards). ok, second season. budgetary cuts were obvious, there were three locations basically. and then the third one hit. basically two locations, one of which is insanely boring walkabout (seems like treechange) with talking beasts. damn two out of eight episodes they spent in dark cheap caves. absolutely no one has anything interesting to say. ending's touching, of course. never read the original, hope it's better. makes you think how exceptional was 'a series of unfortunate events'

Alice in Borderland: Season 28

lil bit crazier than squid games, with some supernatural or sci-fi (who knows). games are obviously crazy and over-the-top, wish they showed more diamond games (intellectual, so a lot of suspence). half-open ending is perfect for either finale or renewal, 'inception'-style. instead of typical korean economy stuff from squid games, there's a lot of morality discussions driven through flashbacks of characters. unlike squid games, players have no motive to kill each other, except in-game and everybody are scattered around the city, so there is almost no confrontation. and there are practically no villains among main and recurring characters, i liked it a lot. still, characters in squid games seemed more interesting. maybe because they have a lot of screen time in the outside world. in the end squid games in my opinion is better but if you're a fan you definitely should watch AIB too.

Welcome to Wrexham: Season 110

absolutely brilliant, captivating and exciting. we are watching Ted Lasso but IRL, those are real people and not some characters, so you cheer for them twice as hard. life is the best screenwriter.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: Season 110

that was the best trek show since 90s. im pretty sure there will be a lot of haters from echo-chambers, the pure fact that 21 century crisis was mentioned in ep 1 will be a trigger. maaan, did time change. now you can't have a female badass character without some incel arguing that it's 'politics'
