Terra Nova: Season 18
Nov 1, 2011
Terra Nova is fun to watch. While the human stories will seem familiar sometimes, the element of dinosaurs has been gone from TV for too long, and it is reintroduced with stunning CGI. Terra Nova is to TV what Avatar was to cinema (ironically, both star Stephen Lang in a strikingly similar role...): A visually beautiful series with a familiar story that will provide solid, light entertainment. And dinosaurs.

Breaking Bad: Season 410
Oct 26, 2011
Fantastic in every aspect, Breaking Bad delivers its strongest season so far (and that is saying something!). This show is and remains a treat, not only for fans of high-quality drama, but also artistically.

2 Broke Girls: Season 15
Oct 25, 2011
Going for every obvious joke in the book, the first season of Two Broke Girls provides light entertainment, but nothing more. Two charismatic lead actresses are the main advantage of an otherwise mediocre show which cannot hope to match established comedies like How I Met Your Mother or The Big Bang Theory, and even if it closely trumps Two And A Half Men, it is far from being a must-see show.

Boardwalk Empire: Season 27
Oct 25, 2011
While generally off to a better start than its first season, the second season of Boardwalk Empire still has some difficulties with the coherence of certain story lines. Interesting secondary characters like Chalky White or the World War veteran Richard Harrow are explored in more detail, making the season more compelling than the first. Steve Buscemi continues to be as brilliant as always (of course).

How I Met Your Mother: Season 710
Oct 25, 2011
This season of How I Met Your Mother continues the upwards trend it has displayed since its arguable low in season five with witty dialogue and an amazing cast. In quality, HIMYM and The Big Bang Theory clearly distance themselves from the otherwise redundant CBS comedies, and retain both humour and niveau.

Game of Thrones: Season 110
Oct 25, 2011
The brilliant first season of Game of Thrones turns out to be a very well-crafted adaptation of Martin's epic first novel in the A Song of Ice and Fire series. The cast is both talented and suited to their roles, and the twists and turns of the convoluted story should keep viewers spellbound.

Supernatural: Season 710
Oct 25, 2011
The seventh season of Supernatural has a familiar season-one-feel to it. It is captivating, brings on brilliant guest stars and overall seems more linear in its development than season six.

Community: Season 310
Oct 25, 2011
Community starts its third season off with the same brilliance it displayed before, remaining the most ambitious comedy at the moment as it dares to push the boundaries like none other. Jokes that work on various levels as well as the attention to detail in every episode make this my favourite comedy at the moment.
