The most fun I've had on a new Pokémon game in ages despite performance issues. This game looks and feels like a wet bucket of **** It's choppy, laggy at times, animations may or may not exist. I had the game crash a handful of times, laughted maniacally at people appearing inside of doorframes, fallen through the floor, and even seen it dissapear. But oh my lord beneath all of these seemingly awful issues is this wonderful game that I'm sure the devs weren't given enough time to flesh out and polish. For starters it's actually challenging, the game is functionally a boss rush with trainer fights all being optional aside from a few. The gyms, gang leaders, and titan fights are all excellent. The Pokémon designs are an overwhelming success to boot. So many quality of life features have been added. Overall a wonderful gameplay experience. Honestly if you can get past the absolute rushed mess of a shell, the inside is a sweet treat that I highly recommend. Maybe wait for a few performance patches though.

Visual: 9/10 Its monster hunter, but back to its roots and bright and colorful. Audio: 9/10 monsters sound great, hits sound satisfying Gameplay:9/10 This may be divisive but I don't really care. Wirebug is an great, takes the place of hunter arts from MHGU but adds very fun mobility. Recommend?: Yes, if you are a fan of the series you are bound to like this entry. The game feels a bit on the easier side due to the ample amount of I-frames on wirebug arts, but the new monsters have excellent movesets and are engaging to fight.

Visual: 9/10 game looks visually unique and consistent Audio: 9/10 good sound design Gameplay: 10/10 There aren't enough words to describe how good this gameplay loop is. Recommend?: yes, this is the GOAT of roguelikes and the genre defining game. There is so much depth and nuance to your decision making and build choice. The characters feel unique and fun/challenging. Play this game.

Visuals: 10/10 excellent style, very consistent Audio: 9/10 very satisfying sounds, goofy little language they speak in is charming Gameplay: 6/10 very little depth to the combat, very easy unless you play on max difficulty (which just strips your hp away). The city builder aspect is good if you like that kind of thing, personally I cannot stand it which made me psychotic. Recommend?: if you like roguelikes and or citybuilding you will like this, its a very charming game and fun to play. The gameplay loop can get a little stale due to lack of mechanic depth, so it has very limited replayability to me.
