This is a Ridley Scott epic, much in the same vein as Gladiator. The medieval setting is intriguing and the way that the 14th century is fleshed out is sublime. The story is told from different views, which I quite liked as it allows for perspective and interpretation however some may find it a tad slow. The movie moves towards a earth **** climax that I'd say I'll never forget.. This is one for people with attention spans - 8/10
