Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate10

I haven't played this game, but Metacritic has a problem where you can accidentally click on a rating and it doesn't even need confirmation. And you can't even delete the rating.

The biggest disappointment of the year for me. The only positive things about it are the beautiful art, the nice soundtrack and the perfect localization and dubbing in Portuguese. What bothered me the most about the game is the lack of freedom. The game interrupts you all the time. And it really does. You perform an action, the page turns, you perform another action, a silly dialogue comes up, you get to a room, the game shows you what to do before you have time to look. It's annoying. The level design is very weak. The scenarios are not at all interesting to explore. At the beginning of the game, for example, practically every bush or tree gives you a "coin" for cutting it down and then you are forced to keep cutting anything. And in the end, you don't even have much to buy in the store with these coins. The combat is very boring and the enemies are repetitive. Most of the mini games are not at all exciting. And the bugs? There are countless. I got stuck in some parts and had to restart the game to be able to advance. The Switch version also suffers a lot from FPS drops in some areas. In addition, there were gameplay elements that I still don't know if they were bugs or intentional. Other minor things that bothered me were, for example: At various times, you can't tell when the dialogues ended and when you're in control again, because there's no visual indication of this. I also thought that finding the game's art with interesting facts about the development within the gameplay itself breaks the immersion. I found it strange to start the game knowing all the behind-the-scenes information. It would be better if this was available after finishing. There's also the issue of the game being extremely childish. Everyone knows that it can be childish, but also interesting for adults, like Pixar movies, for example, but that's not the case here. Maybe it's a great game for kids. Anyway, it's a shame. The game had everything it needed to be good. There are so many good ideas, but they're just poorly executed. I believe that if the game had been polished for another 2 years, it could have become another milestone in indie games. But not this time.

WarioWare: Move It!10

I spent last night playing WarioWare: Move It! with my cousin and we found the game very fun. Its madness is a delight, the moshion control is one of the best used on the Switch and the micro-games guarantee a lot of laughs.

I dropped it. At the beginning of the game, I was enchanted with everything except for the NPC dialogues. The game is very beautiful, but soon everything becomes too repetitive. I stopped playing in the second dungeon. There was no goal that excited me to continue. It's a shame because I was very eager to play it before the release.

Tunic10

TUNIC has been my best indie experience of the year so far. It looks like a mix of classic Zelda, Souls-like and FEZ. It's that kind of game you're always rewarded for exploring. The game manual/map is also very creative. 10/10

I think this game is being very wronged. As a metroidvania fan, I found this game amazing. I loved the art, the innovative soundtrack with a real singer, loved the upgrades and even loved getting lost until I found the next goal. With the exception of the map navigation sound, everything about this game delighted me. 10.
