Music 10/10 Beautiful, magical, perfectly evolves with the gameplay Voice acting 2/10 Awful. Voices don't match the era and style of the game. Conversations sound clunky and unnatural. Visuals 9/10 Stunning. Epic landscapes and buildings. People and creatures have lots of attention to detail. Script and story line 5/10 Corny and unoriginal. Not helped by terrible character interaction mechanics. Weapons and armour 9/10 Huge variety and customisation. Great design and animations. Combat 8/10 Varied and exciting. Although the menu system is fiddly. Free form play 8/10 Loads of exploration and random world events to keep a wanderer on the road.

Its now 2012 and i still haven't played a game with an original story and atmosphere like this. The opening scenes of Bioshock, where you crash and discover Rapture, are still one of my favorites in any game or film.

The cinematic experience of this game is one of the best and most absorbing in any game I have played. The technical accomplishment of this game is limited compared to the sequels and the production was clearly a sequel rather than a progression. The ending was powerful though I can understand how many conisder it a cop-out. This excellent series deserved more because of the high standard it set itself.

I love the series. This is a decent game. But developers should not expect high scores if they don't push the boundaries, especially when the series has made tens of millions in profit. Nothing new here.

The solo campaign is short but well made but its the multiplayer and zombies that people really buy this game for. Sure it's alot like MW2 but thats no bad thing in my opinion. Its an improvement on an excellent game.
