This is a horrible game, where the objective is pay to play or wait... a lot. I even bought the game, so, when i saw the wait to play scheme.... well, just three words: dont pay for this crap!

This is a unfinished game? No text whatsoever, no tutorial, no objectives. What am i supposed to do? It is strange that this product was accepted in the app store, but being promoted frontpage?! Maybe a bug? I gave a 1 because of the cool graphics, but beyond that....

Star Traders 4X Empires Elite7
Aug 26, 2014
This is a fun 4X space game with some strategy deep but in some aspects little polished. The pace of the game is nice, despite some turns with nothing more than "click next turn". Combat has a simplistic strategic layer, with the AI not being remarkable. I suspect that the AI uses cheats, because the number of enemy ships that appear in the game. In this case, because the enemies are aliens, we can imagine that their production methods are faster and more efficient, but... there are cheats to overcame the AI limitations. The graphics are poor in line with star traders rpg but the sound is nicer. The story is based on the star traders rpg what is very cool for the players that already had played that title. The maps are well designed and in sufficient number, but i miss the random map feature. It is not a game for everybody, but if you like the Trese Brothers games, i recommend it.

This could be one of the best games for ios. It have a deep solid strategic layer, it is fun and replayable. The cons are a boring map with little info (why the hell the planets don't have the empire icon and a color layer for development stats) and a manual with many unanswered questions. Despite that, it is a fun game, developed with passion for core strategic gamers.

The Terminal 22

This is a very weak and limited simulation, needing a major upgrade to deserve to be bought. It isn't a tycoon game, it isn't a simulation, and to be fair, let's say it is a light casual game to be played while you wait the bus. This is too expansive for its content and, even if it was free, i wouldn't recommend it.

This is a mastermind game. Despite that, the game is not for all tastes. It is, above all, a book. In this book we can choose the hero actions, and in the end, the victory or defeat. The graphics are beautiful and make us "live" the story. The sound is good enough for the game standard. And the story... well... simply fantastic. I believe that the most obvious route is too easy, but when we explore the world, the collateral stories are amazing. In a word, Superb!

This is a well done text adventure, with a space theme. It really made me try and try again until reach the end of the adventure. I loved the graphics and the sound, yet repetitive is appropriate. It is a small game, but its quality make me say.... two thumbs up!

Don't expect a perfect simulator or the control precision of a console or even a pc. Despite that, it is a fair game, with lots of improvements and interesting for a quick game. For longer games, i recommend the console version over the iOS one. Probably more a device problem (more suited for other game types) than the game itself. But it is a nice addition for your game library, if you are a football fan.

Ever dreamed to be the "romantic version" of an hacker? To make the good and arrest the bad ones? And, by the way, save the world from a major conspiracy? Or, on the other hand, make it collapse and return to middle ages? Well, that's the object of this game, the best of its kind. The original game, that this port version clones to the limit of perfection, are today somewhat dated. But i still play it some day or another. It was great play the game once more, in a more portable device, and feel the same sensations of the good "bad guy". I only regret that the onlink mod (don't know if it exists anymore) wasn't included, but it was an official mod, so... To the dev, my deepest thanks for the port and two thumbs up!

Reiner Knizia's Tigris & Euphrates3
Jul 20, 2014
I love board games, but i really don't understand the good reviews about this one. I don't know if the problem is with the port or the game itself, but i really don't like this one. Knizia's games aren't the most good looking board games there, but, even so, some are pretty good. In my humble opinion, not this one. Sorry. Maybe the board game itself is funnier, or request real players to make it fun. I don't recommend it.

One of the jewels of appstore. You have to choose a team of unique talents and fight several monsters until destroy the ultimate menace. Being a board game port, dice combats and special cards are the core game. The music is great and gives ambiance, the graphics excellent for a board game, the game mechanics truly well thought. It even presents a cool briefing story to give some context. It isn't a game for all, for this you need to think hard and have a bit of luck to win. Tho thumbs up!

This is the perfect board game port. The ai is great. The ui is great. The game pace is great. The multiple "personalities" of the ai give the human feeling to the play. A jewel in appstore.

A master of orion remake. And a good one. The support to the game has been great and ai is much better now. One of the best 4x games for ios, if not the best. Two thumbs up!

Great port of board game. The ai is good enough, at least for me. The long play time may be boring for some, so... be advised. For the board game fans, two thumbs up!

I love this game. It feels like steel phanters, despite the map be smaller, probably because the ipad specs. It isn't a perfect simulator, but it is a fun game, probably a bit overpriced. The strategic layer is good enough for me, being the ipad best suited for quick/medium games. I recommend it.

Democracy 37
Jul 20, 2014
This is like the desktop version, without mod support and expansions. You have to rule a democratic world power, with probably more than an hundred policies from taxes to foreign relations. Odd enough, it is a democracy political game that don't have a real opposition party and have the dullest election mechanic possible. This is in fact, more like a social simulator (social responses to policies changes) than a game.

Great game (it is almost a mini-game) with a great theme and very well designed. Each team needs specific strategy to win and with the start special conditions, each race feels unique. It is a challenge to win in the several locations of the empire and it will give you several hours of entertainment.

Bridge Constructor Medieval7

This is similar with the first one, but remains quite fun. The enemy bombardments are a nice touch. It would be funnier if the story wasn't linear, but well... maybe in 3!
