Indie game dressed up with good presentation but lacks any sort of cohesion when it comes to conveinence. No, I dont want to run back to a boss that is mandatory to progress 100 times. No I dont want to have to manually save it just to save my level and stats (like auto save exists, why?) It really does feel like things are purposely here to piss off the player , like god forbid you leave the screen and come back all of the enemies are respawning and you get NONE of the exp for killing them again. Ability the edit controls? NOPE. Simple abilities like dash unlocked at start? NAh . so many times in this game your hard work will just be GONE and you will ask yourself why the F am I playing this

In a sea of prequels/sequels and unreal jank, its very rare we actually get something this new/unique. No surpise here that this is an absolutely phenomenal game. 10 out of 10 for sure, I dont even really like turn based RPGS or JRPGS but this one seemed to blow me away. You can really tell that it is a passion project through and through, very strange that this is really a double A game but is really a AAA in scope and excitement. The combat system being semi action oriented is where it really shines, it literally does not get old to nail a perfect parry and counter, reminds me of sekuro in that way. Music : EPIC. STORY : EPIC. Art style : totally insane, unique and just like sheer beauty. this game really excels in every area and you are doing yourself a disservice to not play it. This very well can be game of the year. LOL at all the negative reviews who **** at parrying/dodging, the game isnt even that hard with the right pictos, don't cry that the boss one shots you until you realize you can one shot the boss. With meta knowledge, the game becomes a cake walk so i recommend you just play through with out looking anything up at first, and then if you struggle just look up a strat. People that give this game a "4" literally play madden year after year giving it a "10"- They are not like us, the intellectuals. play this game.

Not a fan of this one or the other one, I think its called reverie? Honeslt I dont know what people see in these games, they are just so bland and difficult just for the sake of being difficult. Yeah you can lower it but then it becomes wayyy too easy like zero chjallenge whatsoever. Im more mad at this game since I encountered a bug in which every time I die it transports me back to the first boss area near spring leaf pass or something like that. Ill still have all my upgrades but location wise im super far from where I was. It doesn't matter if I use the alter/bell and save the game into my progress it just starts me here for some reason. So this game completely wasted my time and their for you shouldn't waste yours with it. Even if it didnt have the glitches I dont think I would have liked it anyway since it was either way to easy or way too hard
