I haven't played the original version and in fact I have only tried metal gear solid on nes and playstation. That is why I was really impressed on what I have seen even just in the demo. I really like stealth and strategy games, that's why I can really recommend this game. Also, based on what I have read and heard, the actual retail version is really good. Lastly, it's annoying that there are some trolls giving ridiculous reviews for this game. Just like one user who game this game a "0", and upon checking his profile, I discovered that he is without a doubt a ps vita fanboy since he also gave mario land 3d and mario kart 7 a 0!

Absolutely a must buy for every 3ds owner! In my opinion it is somehow better than tetris but of course we cannot deny the fact that tetris is a legend in this genre of games. Nevertheless, I know many will agree with me that this game is worth buying than tetris.

Epic version of the game for the 3ds. Even though there is some lag on online play, it's understandable just like in all online games since online experience greatly depends on numerous factors. I traded my pilotwings resort for this game and I don't regret it.

I have heard and read many positive reviews for this game. I personally got my copy and I didn't like it, probably because of the gameplay. Anyway, I just played this game for a few minutes so I might be assuming too much. I already traded my copy for street fighter 3d and I don't regret it.

This is my first 3ds game and I really liked it! You'll surely like this especially if you have played previous ace combat games. I personally played ace combat way back in the classic playstation and this really shows how advance the technology on our current game consoles/handhelds is. The graphics, gameplay and sound is superb! They should have added online features such as online dogfights (epic!), anyway the game is underrated. It is a must buy!

Best racing game for the 3ds! It has a massive replay value because it's a competitive racing game even in single player mode (talk about time trials) and most of all because of the online features such as online multiplayer, battle, time trial records, etc.

I have a huge interest in this genre of games and thought that it would be a good way to exercise my brain since I have been lazy with my studies for the past 4 years. When I bought this game last December, I was a bit hesitant since believe it or not it was the most expensive 3ds game at that moment in my local video game store. Probably it's because of the poor demand for the game, well upon playing it for the first time, I was really satisfied with the gameplay even though it's a simple brain game with additional 3d enhancements. The game is intended to be a 90 day course, meaning you'll have to play it daily but you can actually play a few games all at once but I warn you as the game progresses the difficulty of the puzzles also increases. However, the main drawback of this game is that it tends to be boring in the long run and a bit frustrating because there are instances where in even the warm-up exercises are too difficult that you'll need to cheat by searching for the answers online or through books (well maybe it's just me). Also, I hate the fact that the some of the math puzzles tend to be too easy especially the one regarding with divisibility because once you have learned the divisibility rules, you'll easily ace those puzzles. The game is still a good addition to your 3ds game library and it will surely help you work-out out that rusting brain. I give it only a 7 because of these main reasons: a. Price - it cannot justify the 40 dollar tag price. b. Gameplay - this should have been just an eshop 3ds game, since it's really a simple game containing hundreds of puzzles (some of which tend to be repetitive). c. Sound - the sound becomes annoying in the long run, a voice over for the professor would have been good.
