I admit that after all of the drama I really wanted to see this movie. I didn't really expect it to be good, but what I saw may have been one of the worst and unfunniest movies of all time. The jokes in this movie must have been written my immature 12 year olds. I gave it a two only because it wasn't visually terrible. The only movie I've ever shut off in the middle of it was that awful Adam Sandler Chuck and Larry movie. I really wanted to shut this one off. But I watched it all because of the hype. My **** could have wrote better jokes.

The Avengers is about exactly what I expected it to be. A very well done superhero movie. It's by no means going to be nominated for any awards, but it was the perfect Friday night guilty pleasure. I went to see it with my 10 year old son. Even though I read the comics, and he didn't, he knew more about the characters than I did. I blame video games.

Very enjoyable movie. I missed it in the theaters, but after all of the good reviews I decided to give it a watch in 1080p. And I was not disappointed at all. The storyline is a bit silly, but the action and camera work was pretty fascinating. And I liked how the guy and girl managed to keep it plutonic during the movie. I still have to look up who she is. So damn hot. Anyway, I've lost my train of thought. Also, I don't really like movies like Fast and the Furious, etc.. They are lame. But this isn't just a car movie. Must see.

One of the best movies I have seen in recent memory. And even my kids, who don't usually like serious themed movies, had to watch it a second time as soon as it came out on bluray. Even though we saw it twice in the theaters. MUST SEE.

This movie was hilarious. I am a bit perplexed about some of the lower scores from the users on this one. Someone probably just made love to their wife in the other room.

This was a very entertaining movie. One of my favorites so far this year. Great story, cinematography, and just enough violence to keep your juices flowing...

Just got home from seeing this movie. It's a slow time for movies, and there wasn't much else out there worth seeing. This got good reviews, so I though I'd try it. The cinematography was excellent, the music and sound effects were terrific as well. Sure, it was an effort to follow the actual story, but that made me pay attention. If I wanted mind numbing dumb action I would have seen Underworld. But overall, a pretty good movie for those of us who still have attention spans in this day and age.

Overall, it was about what I expected. A lot of over-the-top, unrealistic violence. Which is kinda of what I wanted, so I did not leave disappointed at all. It's definitely worth a rental if you are into these types of movies.

If you had never saw the original, then this would have been an even better movie than the 8 I am giving it. Granted, it was predictable, but still done really well. Jaden Smith is a very talented actor, and does a tremendous job in this film.
