GTA Online is a fun game to mess around with, despite the griefers and what not. That is not my issue with the game. My issue comes in with rockstars support of the game. They love to pump out flashy updates but refuse to fix the basic problems with their game. For instance, attempting to get players to join a heist/job now is essentially impossible unless you already know people. This is thanks to the auto invite feature just not working as it's meant to and invitations as a whole barely working anyways. The auto invite is meant to invite a random group of people on a timer. Instead the auto invite only invites those in your lobby. This makes filling a job from a private server impossible and filling one from even a full server difficult and tedious. I have spent over an hour in lobbies multiple times waiting for a job to fill. it's a ridiculous issue for a company like rockstar to have, made even more frustrating by the fact it's been an issue for years. I have seen people complaining about this dating from 2013, 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024. It's ridiculous rockstar seems to almost refuse to acknowledge the glaring issue with their own game.
