Basically Rome: Total War but yet, somehow better in every way. If you even remotely like medieval history, or history in general, this is a must-play.

The BEST Total War game, though fighting Medieval 2 for that title. The only bad thing about this game is the god awful performance in 2024. That still didn't stop me from playing the hell out of it, which tells you how good this game actually is.

The gameplay, combat and graphics are not noteworthy but not bad either. Some people care that this game is not like previous Assassin's Creed games but if it isn't, that doesn't instantly make it a bad game. It is just too repetitive once you finish the introduction and play for a bit. The best aspect of this game is the setting - classical Greece where NPC's actually speak Greek, coupled with a HUGE map with tons of settlements and always changing lines of control between Sparta and Athens. I encountered virtually no bugs when I played this game, though that was when it was already way past launch day. I would give it an 8.7/10 if I could, but I give 8 since I don't think it deserves a 9/10.

Everything in this game is mid, movement, graphic, combat, overall gameplay... It seems they were going in the right direction and then said "f**k it those plebs will still give it a 10/10 because we invested half of our funding into marketing". Genuinely modern Assassin's Creed games are more enjoyable and I HATE Ubisoft...
