First off, I would give this game a zero... if I were rating it on day one performance. Given that this site reviews games based on their CONTENT, I will give it a ten. This game is gorgeous. I can't say enough words to describe the beauty of this game. Not only is it graphically better than the console versions; it's also eventually going to have some amazing mods that will make the game 3x better, at least. Whoever is giving this game a zero because it had some launch issues... you shouldn't probably review games for a living.

I was walking in first-person mode, around a small town behind Mt. Chiliad. It was night time, clear, and extremely quiet. I could hear the hum of cars on the highway that ran through the town. However, I also heard a dog barking. I had never heard a dog bark in GTA before (maybe I just hadn't noticed). So I walked around in search of this dog and found it, digging in garbage cans. When I came near, I saw that the dog looked at me, and started to bark as if he wanted to play. These little pieces of detail are what makes GTA amazing, not to mention its graphics, gameplay and incredible audio. I highly suggest picking up this game.

Yes and no. I urge you to really think about it. Was this game over-hyped? Yes. Is this game still good? Yes. Could it be better? Yes. I'll let you decide what needs to be changed... but it does need change...

I love this game. The graphics, destruction, dynamic gameplay, etc. in this game are spectacular. However, it doesn't go unnoticed that DICE hasn't greatly improved much. Yes, you can collapse roads now and there are big set pieces in each map, but these are guilty pleasures and not great improvements to the game. Regardless, this game is one of the best this year, besides GTA V perhaps.

Like others have said, GTA V is what GTA IV should have been. That being said, I wish it had been. I love GTA V. Everything has been improved and then some. Driving is more realistic. I can actually make turns going 25 miles per hour now. To add to that, Franklin's special makes driving even more entertaining. Motorcycles act like motorcycles now and can make pretty incredible turns and maneuvers. The addition of planes increases the wide variety of vehicles and machines to operate, much more than in GTA IV. The character animation also has been improved. There are now facial expressions and animation body parts (over-exaggeration). Even AI characters on the street look good. The world is also much bigger. When I say bigger, that is an understatement. The world is ungodly huge. Being bigger than San Andreas, Red Dead Redemption, and GTA IV combined, no wonder this game received a 95 or higher from almost every reviewer. That being said, this game is one of the greatest ever made. If you don't like brutal murder and swear words every other word, then buy this game because it's so much more. If you do like those things, you should already own this game.

Whoever is giving this game a bad review by comparing it to other RTS games is reviewing it wrong. Yes, in this game I can't command an army with 1,000's (may be an exaggeration) of units like in Supreme Commander, but I can have fun playing this game. The elitists who think only the top of the line RTS is worthy of their "supreme strategies and superb multitasking" are giving this game a bad review and are ruining it for the rest of us. While this game may not be the best, it's definitely entertaining and enjoyable.

I don't understand the negativity towards this game. This may be the most inclusive game I have ever seen. There is something for everyone. If you like surviving in the wild, there is the survival game mode. If you like building, there is creative mode. If you like building complicated machines and working with wiring, there are modpacks such as Tekkit and Voltz. If you like PvP, there are hundreds of Hunger Games servers, Search and Destroy servers, etc. If you like playing Call of Duty or Battlefield, there are servers for that as well. There are maps made for RPG play too. Anything you want to do in Minecraft, you can, so go buy this game as it is much less expensive than most other games.

Okay, so maybe this isn't as great as the PC version of Minecraft, but how can anyone expect it to be. It is called Pocket Edition for a reason. It's supposed to be played on the go. They keep adding new content so it keeps getting better and better. Until the devices you play Pocket Edition on get better, the game will have it's limitations. Go out and buy this game now, before it gets to its full potential and the developers raise the price! This is a great game.

Heroes and Castles

This game is a very good iPad/iPhone game. It's different than quite a few games on the app store. The goal of the game is to defend your castle by using your character (the hero), units that you can call into battle, and different buildings and defense towers. It's a third person action game, not a tower defense. This game is very challenging and very strategic. You will eventually lose a level. This is all part of the game. The same strategy will not work for every stage. There is, however, a shining fault in this game. You will have the choice to pick 1 of 3 heroes to play as. I have played as all three and I can tell you that the knight is the only good character (for now). The other two are simply at too big of a disadvantage. That is the only fault so far and I look forward to new updates.

Batman: Arkham City

This is my favorite game. Batman: Arkham Asylum was a fantastic game with a fantastic story. Batman: Arkham City improves on it in every way. First, the story is fantastic. New villains along with some old ones make an appearance such as Mr. Freeze, the Penguin, and of course, the Joker. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll stop there. The combat is amazingly refined. No longer is it just mashing the strike and counter button. The enemies are more diverse and require varied tactics to beat, especially when they're mixed in among other inmates. Old gadgets return along with a plethora of new ones as well making combat and stealth that much cooler. If you liked the challenge of finding riddler trophies in Arkham Asylum, than you'll be in heaven here. Now when you find a riddler trophy, some work goes into figuring out how to get it. This is an all around fantastic game and is worth whatever you pay for it. The replay value is incredible.

The story in Resistance 3 is a bleak one. It really shows how desperate the situation is and to what lengths the characters will go to in order to survive. It is a great story to end the series. The addition of being able to play the entire campaign with a friend is very welcome. The single-player is great, but the multi-player isn't as unique as Resistance 2's. The lack of 60 player matches really makes it seem more like a half-baked attempt than an innovative multi-player experience. Yes, there are some new features, but it doesn't make an impact on me as much as Resistance 2's multi-player did. All of that said, go pick up this game, especially if you have someone to play it with.

This is a great app for only $0.99. Destroying all life on Earth has never been more fun or challenging. It is a very hyper-realistic game and you will see all of the real life connections while playing it. There is also a wide array of symptoms, abilities, and transmissions you can give your disease. You really have to think hard to beat this game.

I have never seen a worse review than JohnD's. He is obviously a Call of Duty fan boy and couldn't handle a game that actually requires a little bit of skill to play. I will admit, this game is entirely different than Call of Duty. Call of Duty has small maps while Battlefield has large ones, COD has no vehicles while Battlefield does, etc. In this game, the pattern isn't re-spawn, die, re-spawn, die. You actually have a chance to breath. While not a real life war experience, at least it tries a little harder than other games.

The first two Uncharted games were top notch. I'm sorry to say that the third one didn't live up to my expectations. Like all Uncharted games, the set pieces and graphics are amazing. Usually Naughty Dog has a great story line to accompany it. Sadly, the story in Uncharted 3 lacks the excitement of the other two. It starts off great, but bad story elements drag it down slowly and painfully. I was confused not half way through the game by some of the occurrences. The ending is also not very good and neither is the boss fight. This game is definitely worth picking up, but it's not the best one in the series.

Let me start by saying that I like this game. It's the game I play most. But there are two things that hold it back. Even an average amount of crystals can only be attained with real-life money and there are countless glitches that trap the zombies behind a wall or bush so that you have to go out and kill them. Developers need to stop taking money from IAP and start making a good game.

I'm hoping you've played BTD4 before reading this. This game has two new towers so far and 8 unique upgrades for each. The tracks more than ever force you to use varying strategies, rather than just use "the strategy that works for you." The graphics are more advanced and new balloon types, such as the regeneration balloons and the camouflauge balloons for every type of balloon. This game is a far improvement over the original and makes you think before placing your towers. When the regen balloons come, you won't want any of the track completely open and when the camo balloons come, you're going to want more than one tower that can target them. This is an all around great game.

This is one of my favorite games on the PS3. A well made game with smooth graphics and very few glitches. People say they want to put this game down after an hour and I respect that. It happens to me a few times and that's what makes this game good. You progress slowly so you don't finish the game in 8 hours, which I hate myself for doing. This game is good at keeping you coming back for more, given its skirmish mode and lengthy campaigns. Plus, there's online multiplayer, although underused I've noticed.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Nov 20, 2011
If Modern Warfare 2 had not been made, then this game would have been an amazing step forward from Modern Warfare. Sadly, that is not the case. Activision has not improved their game much at all. It is basically the same game with a similar campaign, the same, if not worse, multiplayer, and a new survival mode which, compared to zombies mode, is decent at best. Starting with the campaign, it is the best one of the series, with lots of near death experiences and large explosions. Although, it seems to much like it's predecessor. Spec Ops mode returns, with 16 missions featuring various objectives to be completed, much like Modern Warfare 2. The survival mode seems fun at first, but after a few games, it becomes apparent that it is basically a rip-off of Call of Duty Zombies mode. Now on to the multiplayer, yes, the multiplayer. At first glance, it seems fantastic, brand new gun proficiencies, a new killstreak system, and new maps. But if you dive deeper, you'll find that over half of the guns are from the two previous Modern Warfare's and a couple from Black Ops. The gun proficiencies are just perks that were in previous Call of Duty games that could not be fit into this one. The killstreaks are mostly the same with new names. The only ones that strike me as brand new are the osprey and the juggernaut. The maps are just downright boring compared to Modern Warfare 2's. This may be a harsh review, but it's the truth. If your a hardcore Call of Duty fan, then you'll probably buy this game regardless of what you read. But know, you were warned.
