Speakeasy (2014)1

The worst crime speakeasy commits is the wasting of it's fantastic setting. The game has no depth, no features and no real GAMEPLAY. Avoid at all costs.

As an update to my previous review, I need to say that the game did get a little better after unlocking some more areas, but not enough improves to keep the game going. The main storyline can be completed in a single day (I completed it in a marathon session of about 8 hours) and the worlds you can explore become very uninteresting after exploring them the first few times More problem arise with your weapons. While you gain access to a unique setup for your weapons, most of them look absolutely identical, down to the sites, which seem to ALWAYS look the same, unless you purchase additional iron sights (though those only exist on uncommon+ grade weapons).I do, however, appreciate the variety in weapon TYPES, with scout rifles, burst fire AR's, fully automatics, shotguns, snipers, superpowereful "fusion" weapons, RPG's and handcannon styled revolvers. Now, with this variety you would think that the models would look better, but you'd be wrong. Nearly every gun of the same type looks the same, which becomes a problem if you don't closely monitor your inventory when dismantling (selling) weapons. Another thing I genuinely like is your armor variety. Each and every armor piece changes how you look, excluding your facial features, which, much like GTA Online, become locked after creation, though unlike GTA Online, the more damage you take in your armor, the more worn it becomes so you can show other players how many firefights you've been in. Now multiplayer, while fun, isn't going to hold anyones attention for very long, ala Bioshock 2. You get 4 basic game modes (Domination, TDM, Free-for-all and 3v3) and a total of 6 maps. Though, perhaps the worst part of multiplayer isn't the lack of variety, but poor mAtchmaking. You cannot play with friends, nor chat with your team whatsoever unless you are in a party before matchmaking, and if you are matched with enemy players a few levels above you, e prepared to get steamrolled by superior weapons. All in all, Destiny is a game that couldn't live up to it's immensive hype (though really, what could?) and leaves players wanting for much, much more than what the finished product provides. Hopefully Bungie provides supplemental free DC to keep the game alive before games like GTA Online and The MAster Chief Collection come to next gen consoles, or I can't see Destiny lasting much longer.

Fallout: New Vegas - Honest Hearts4
Aug 14, 2014
by far the weakest DLC released for New Vegas, Honest hearts offers little to the player outside of a few useful unique items. The quests are overwhelmingly bland, and feature almost no development to the games plot as a whole, outside of meeting The Burned Man, a central figure to New Vegas lore. Pros: - Nice looking world, breath of fresh air compared to other DLC's - New weapons pack a real punch, and are easy to acquire - Tracking down and learning the story of the Survivalist is heartbreaking and intense Cons: - You never really get to know any of the characters outside of Joshua Graham. Everyone seems like they could have been thrown away or written out - Enemies are insanely powerful, carrying some of the most damaging weapons in the game if you are over level 20, including Anti Materiel Rifles, which can one-shot players on medium or higher if they aren't wearing very expensive armor - Very little unique loot - Unique enemies are gimmicky, aren't very powerful - Riverbanks and canyons are covered by giant cazadores, which makes navigation without fast travel far to difficult

Battlefield 4: Dragon's Teeth7
Aug 14, 2014
While not as good as the China Rising pack, it's still miles better than Naval Strike. Pros: - Great new selection of guns and gadgets, including a ludicrously powerful Deagle - Maps are very varied, have lots of different areas to explore - Sea Dragon is possibly the best DLC map to date - New challenges and awards take actual effort this time around, unlock previous DLC additions Cons: - Could have added moire vehicles to some maps, as some are empty feeling (Propaganda in particular) - The Deagle and MPX weapons are devastating, requiring little to no effort to get kills in hardcore or normal play - Pearl Market is very cramped, feels more like a larger Call of Duty map than a Battlefield map, only lends itself to Team Deathmatch style gamemodes - Chainlink gamemode addition is interesting but functions very poorly

A game that looks promising, but fails on all accounts, Rekoil: Liberator is a game that can't deliver anything it promises. Dull graphics, unbalanced weapons, poor net code and more, this game looks and feels like it's still in it's beta stages rather then a finished product.

Call of Duty: Ghosts1

It just gets worse and worse. Black Ops 2 gave a refreshing take on the series, giving us a colorful, vibrant game with new twists on gameplay, albeit still feeling copy pasted, it was still alot better then all the drab, boring OORAH of the other COD games after Modern Warfare. This game has the shortest campaign in history (a total of 5 hours on Veteran, 3 on Normal) and a VERY RACIST premise, the game is basically about fighting evil Mexicans and Arabs, furthering the series trademark Xenophobia. Multiplayer wise, the game is still trying to hard to recapture the glory days of Modern Warfare and World at War, but failing just like the games before it. And then there's the new Operations mode. You fight aliens. That's about it. Taking away the awesome ability to do missions together like in WaW, the ability to do co-operative missions in MW2, the ability to survive countless waves of enemies like in MW3, and of course, Zombies. There's hardly anything new to look for in this game, with stale graphics, gameplay blatantly stolen from other titles and an engine that's 12 years old, this game belongs in a bargain bin, and is certainly not worth $30, let alone $60.

Great game, very in depth. Feels like a mix of Third Strike and Blaz Blue, so if you like those titles and/or are into Japanese loli fighters, you'll adore this game. Be warned: It's VERY technical.

One of, if not the single best RPG released in recent years. This game is designed to be difficult, but it's not as difficult as some users may make it out to be. While it definitely IS difficult, the game rewards you for trying, learning and fighting your way through the massive world of Lordran, fighting your way through the slums of the Undead Asylum, all the way to the Primordial Flame, surrounded by a massive kingdom burnt to ash. On top of the amazing world and fantastically deep lore, the game features some of the finest combat to ever be featured in any RPG, with weapons and armor that can be customized to your play style, allowing you to be a swift thief one moment, stabbing your enemies in the back, to a bulking tank of a knight, crushing your opponents with massive weapons made of steel, dragons teeth or even a basic club. It also features some of the most rewarding and finely tuned Player Versus Player combat to ever be featured in a videogame, allowing you to invade the worlds of other players, or be summoned to assist friends and strangers alike in the deadly world of Lordran. Any way you look at it, this is the perfect RPG, and would be a daunting pass to surpass. Prepare to die...

Absolute garbage. Every single positive review on this game is a guaranteed fake by the dev. This game is quite possibly the worst piece of tat I've played since Duke Nukem Forever. Please, do yourself a favor and NEVER, EVER buy anything from this dev.
