I'm really disappointed with 2k17, especially with MyCareer mode. I turned up the difficulty way higher looking for a real challenge. Unfortunately all it has resulted in is weird, unexplainable behaviour from my teammates - like ton of unforced turnovers and stepping out of bounds. Also my player can be randomly pushed back by opposing players. Opponents set screens so illegal you might as well sell drugs with it, they make impossible shots with perfect defense and block your shots without even touching the ball (sic!). Sometimes players you guard on the perimeter almost teleport like two feets closer to the basket and move by you. And the weird passing that crops up here and there is especially frustrating because it interrupts some chances to really zip the ball around the perimeter or to pass it inside for an open shot. I push the stick up to pass to the unguarded, open player and my guy passes the ball to the left with defender guarding the passing lane resulting in a turnover - I mean, this is unexplainable and totally random, how is this even possible?! These are things I have no control over and when they happen the outcomes can sometimes feel VERY unfair. There is no actual challenge in this. It all just feel like the game is cheating or abusing the game mechanics to get a cheapshot. It's frustrating and it completely ruins the fun for me. I would gladly just let it go and return the game to retailer at this point, unfortunately it's not possible.

One of the few real gaming dramas. Takes big risks. Has great dialogues, awe inspiring views and a sense of loneliness and desolation. Paranoia inducing plot and great ending that mocks mysteries and conspiracy theories. Leaves you wanting more in a good sense. Length is adequate to the experience, the game serves it purpose. I don't know how you can finish it in just 2,5 hours and appreciate it. It took me two evenings (8-9 hours in all and I still had the feeling I rushed through it a bit in the middle section when it gives you a moment to relax before the "storm"). I would not trade it for more catchy, cheesy ending, more "gameplay" or "replay value". My hat off to Campo Santo for having a courage to expose themseves to unjust criticism that may scare off some players. I encourage everyone to walk outside their comfort zone and give it a try.
