Got a Vita just to play this! It was so worth it. If you do own a Vita, you owe it to yourself to play this game :D Really charming characters, world, art style, and it's really fun.

LOL all the people rating these games low just because they're on Xbox. Damn, if you're one of the paragons of self esteem doing that, just go away. You're a disgrace to other Sony fans, and to gamers in general, and you seriously need to get over yourselves. If an Xbox exclusive is good, let it be good, because rating it low just because you can't play it gives the impression that you're jealous, which is just pathetic.

Important to remember that for both Sony and Microsoft exclusives at launch you will have petty, pathetic fanboys from the other side posting 0s. So for both sets of games, imagine the user score to be about .5 higher than it is as shown.

Lowering the user score because the PC version hasn't come out yet is absolutely pathetic. Screw the haters just because they're jealous they can't play the game as well. Get over yourself, FFS. It's a great game. Buy it.

I came here expecting to see a bad user review and it's exactly what I saw. To people wondering whether to buy this game: Most of the negative reviews here are from people who are butthurt about the fact this game's on iOS, and are so pathetic that they take it out on the developers by giving it bad reviews under the pretence of having played the game. This is NOT a bad game. It is not a hashed out release. The combat is kinda buggy, but apart from that, it has amazing graphics, an awesome story and really good, rewarding exploration. Definitely a worthy sequel to HR. Sure, I wish it had come out on consoles. But, to all you whiny annoying people out there who judge a game solely on its platform and not on its gameplay, just because it's a iOS title, complain about it all you want on youtube videos etc., but these score sites are for people who want to know the quality ****. Posting bad reviews because you don't like mobile gaming is just petty and gives a false impression of quality. Put it this way. Metacritic user score, where anybody can review it: 4.4 App Store user score, where only people who have bought the game can review it: 4.5/5 Make what you want out of that.

There should really be a rule about people not being allowed to write a review for something if they HAVEN'T PLAYED THE DAMN GAME. Seriously, some of the stuff in these comments is ridiculous. The setting is "unimaginative"? What? How can you complain about a steampunk, floating city being "unimaginative" when there are games like Call of Duty and Battlefield getting farted out that use a brown, dust filled desert-industrial environment which seems to be a sort of basic formula for games nowadays. Anyway, the setting IS imaginative, and the story IS good, anybody who is saying the story "made no sense" probably just didn't understand it because they have the IQ of a coconut. The story made sense perfectly fine to me, and to 98% of the other people who played the game, as well. That said, if you don't like exploring, and just prefer to shoot people, don't buy this game and then complain that it was too well paced and you didn't spend 100% of your time killing other humans, because there is a big emphasis on exploration in this game, gear, money, and voxophones, which flesh out the story really nicely are all found by exploration. Also you get to see more of the city and experience the graphics design, because it is spectacular. Basically, it has everything good that the first Bioshock had, fast paced and exciting combat, amazing, albeit very different, atmosphere, an emphasis on exploration and a great story, without the redundant binary moral choice system. Also Elizabeth is a really nice addition to the game, one of the best support characters since Alyx. Basically, if you haven't played it, and are here to write a bad review because you watched TotalBiscuit's WTF is? video, then go away. If you DID play it, and didn't enjoy it, fair enough, but don't criticise something simply because of its genre. Yes, it didn't have any puzzles or stealth. Do you know why? Because it's an FPS, you moron. Anyway, if you enjoyed the original, you'll love this, it's definitely a Bioshock game, I'd say it was even better than the 1st. The worst thing about it was the soundtrack, and that's just because I can't remember anything about it, and I finished the game yesterday. Great combat, great story, great atmosphere, great pacing, great graphics, it did everything well. I'm giving it a 9 because of a few things I didn't like. The vigors are a bit unoriginal, except for the Bucking Bronco and Murder of Crows, and even that is basically just a repackaged Insect Swarm from B1. I preferred the gun upgrade system in B1, and the upgrades for that were much more original than the ones in this, which pretty much consist of "damage increase", "clip size increase", "recoil decrease", and "accuracy increase". It's a fantastic game, but there ARE a few things that stop it from being a 10. I would give it 9.5 if I could, but there is no 9.5, so it gets a 9. I loved it, and will definitely buy the DLC planned.

Dishonored: The Knife of Dunwall10
Apr 26, 2013
Great DLC, a must for anybody who enjoyed Dishonored. If you did, you'll love this, it's more of the same, but still refreshingly original, kept up by new powers, gear, and a somewhat interesting story that I thought could have been a bit better, but one that that I hope will bet fleshed out a bit more in Brigmore Witches. However, I still gave it a 10 because it's got fantastic gameplay, and absolutely amazing level design and atmosphere, especially in the 1st level where you get to experience the disturbing brutality of the whale slaughterhouse. Plus Daud is a badass :D Obviously, if you didn't enjoy Dishonored, don't buy this. Some people bought this expecting it to be different from Dishonored for some reason, and went to rage about that in some of the other reviews. All in all, a great piece of DLC, looking forward to the next one.

A great game, let down by some very minor issues. The stealth is fantastic. There is a tendency in stealth games for there to be a lot of waiting around for someone to walk away, and then a lot of sneaking up behind them only slightly faster than their walking pace. The blink skill completely eliminates this, and keeps the gameplay to a great pace. The story is pretty generic- your classic revenge plotline with a slightly disappointing twist. The graphics, however, are astounding, and the sprawling level design is always fun. The main problem with dishonored is length, balance and the whole moral choice thing. The game is only about 6 hours long, even when doing it stealth-mode, albeit a very enjoyable 6 hours. The balance is a problem because once you have acquired the power to teleport long distances, possess enemies so you can literally walk through tricky bits, and stop time, there's not much that will really get in your way. I found the moral choice thing a problem because there are realistically only 2 ways you're going to play this game: trying to get no kills at all, or killing everything that moves. The problem is, for a game that encourages stealth, with lots of ways to complete a mission and special extra challenges for people taking the non-lethal approach, most of the gear is designed for the lethal approach. I found that I never used grenades, my pistol or most of the powers when doing the stealth approach, and in doing the lethal approach you miss out on most **** that was DESIGNED around being stealthy. The game would have definitely been a 10 if it didn't have the binary moral choice, I wouldn't mind it if it had some middle ground, with lots of possible endings. Even so, it was one of my favourite games of 2012, with some REALLY cool ideas and lots of originality, and fantastic game mechanics. I know that a second game is in planning, due to the success of this one, and I am really looking forward to it. Despite its flaws, I would definitely recommend this game, it is a lot of fun.

Bastion10

This game is downright amazing. Beautiful soundtrack (which I have bought on itunes), amazing art style, great gameplay and one of the best stories I have ever seen in a game. From what I can see, the people who didn't like Bastion are people who seem to think the gameplay is all that matters in a game, so if you're one of those people, don't buy Bastion, and stick to call of duty or Halo. The best thing about Bastion is the story, it blends seamlessly together with everything else without compromise, and was genuinely emotional and moving, so if you have enough brains to play anything without guns of racism to middle eastern people, then I highly recommend Bastion, it's definitely worth any amount of money you pay for it. I made an account just to review this game.
