What a ripoff! I just recently purchased this game because I enjoyed the first one and I am a huge star wars fan. The gameplay is actually quite fun; dual wielding lightsabers, over the top force powers, I was really enjoying it. There was the occasional choppyness in the graphics and glitches here and there, but I could easily overlook them for what was shaping up to be a great game. But then things took a turn for the worst. Much to my surprise and delight the MC is confronted by Darth Vader on the fourth mission of the game. Facing Vader so early in the game? Must have a lot planned for the rest I thought. Nope, not at all. The fourth mission is the last one!!! I couldn't believe the game ended when it did, things were just picking up. The story went absolutely nowhere from start to finish, I beat the game in 5 hours, such a disappointment for what I thought was going to be my favorite star wars game. I do not recommend it unless you're borrowing it from a friend or something, do not waste your money.

This and the original are by far my favorite RPG's on the Nintendo DS. The stories and character struggles, along with their growth and failures, truly make these games stand out. You begin to feel the panic that the characters feel as time is running out, knowing that there world will likely never be the same. The turn based strategy battle system is top notch making use of extra turns that make big differences in battle. The demon fusion system is a great way to create stronger demons to fight for you, adding depth by using an inheritance system for carrying over different moves.

Very fun game, challenging and frustrating, but worth it once you collect the parts and whomp on the bad guys. I had fun with this and would certainly recommend it to mega man fans.

I have played ALOT of games in my day, but Battle Network 3 is, and will likely forever remain, my favorite handheld game of all time. I cannot count the amount of times I have replayed this 20+ hour game from start to finish. The main story is fantastic and there is tons of other things to do as well. The fantastic hybrid real-time/ strategy battle system draws you in and the story keeps you there.
