I started playing this game but promptly deleted it once I learned about the completely immoral game design with predatory lootbox micro transactions. I get that it's free-to-play and Blizzard has to make money somehow, but this is just completely immortal and shameless.

Cannot even play the game because I don't have a phone. I would rate the game much higher but I literally cannot play it, therefore it gets a straight zero.

Shadowlands is generally good but has many major problems that people tend to focus on. Lore was bland/bad, class balance is non-existent, and the initially released content is always designed to be grindy, time-gated, and obnoxious. There are still some good strengths though (raid design, mythic keystone design, etc).

I was a huge fan of the X-com games and I want so bad to say this game is good... but unfortunately it is just so terribly balanced that I can't play it anymore. Enemies are ridiculously overpowered, but then certain combinations (stealth infiltrators, rage burst snipers, etc) are even more ridiculously overpowered. Absolutely nothing is explained in the game, everything is confusing and undocumented without going to the forums to ask for help. And then of course all the bugs that occasionally crash the game - I could live with those, but do have to point that out. This game is clearly NOT ready to be released yet, but the creators needed the cash grab so they threw away their reputation releasing a crap game, probably hoping that they can fix the issues as they release more paid DLC content. No thanks, I uninstalled and I'm done with this garbage game.
