Well, I will start saying that the issues I have here are probably because of skill issue (or because I am too attached to coherent story-telling) oh and I have only beaten world 7 by the time I am making this review. This game **** what I was expecting. I was expecting an...Perfectly average aRPG with a pixel art-style. What I got? An anime aRPG with a pixel art-style. Not very different, right? I am getting to that later on. Let's talk about what this game is about, it's a simple premise. Invaders (apparently fire themed) appear and..Start evading. So you need to travel around worlds via some kind of island ****'s not clear HOW you truly get to places tho. The first thing you notice is that you can choose the gender of the main character, the Knight! Yay! But it doesn't change the **** you don't count getting mistaken by a man or wearing a wedding dress as a man (not my case lol) You know what's funny though? Not a lot of the characters have some importance in the history..They do have really cool personalities. But you will eventually go into a menu called the book, in it you can check out your really cool characters you got. Except it's also where you will find out it's a gacha game with questionable female design (in some characters) OK, let's talk about the gameplay now, funny that I kinda discovered that critics in this website talk about what the gameplay is only when it's bad. But the gameplay is kinda good? It's a tough game, but it's still enjoyable if you know what is g o i n g o n In some fights (mostly after world 4)there will be A LOT happening on the screen. In this game you get different weapons (some characters fight a certain way no matter the weapon they can be asigned to) for your characters to..Well, fight with. Some weapons work differently yet can be asigned to the same character in a way. You don't get it? Well, get the sword for example. You can either hold one sword and a shield or TWO swords. They fight differently, ****, it's still enjoyable mostly. Oh, and there is a chat where you can chat with people. Yes. That's it. OK, now I will talk about the stuff I DON'T like. It's not your average a and jRPG, it's also a GAACHAAAA GAEEEEEEEM!!!! You know what that means, right? No? It means that...Girls, but most importantly..GAMBLING!!!!! Yes, there is gambling to this game. Also there is a minor P2W..I mean, if you don't feel like grinding your ass out and using a bunch of your stamina. You need a bunch of grinding to get to the level necessary after the fourth world, where you need to get the maximum level in that point (example: the maximum level in world 6 is 55, when clearing, it goes up to 60 ) . Somebody said that this game has a bad community, it's probably because they are using the phone and not the switch to play, and if they mean bad community in bad FANART...Well, the game has, like I said, a couple girls with questionable design, so I am not surprised that a character were **** know what I mean. It's a small one but the game's english dub is kinda mid tbh. They traduce what the characters **** long as they are in your **** they are speaking in a textbox or smth similiar, nope, just the funny beeps. The japanese dub doesn't have this issue. This last one is more of a personal one, but I think the game is chaotic in a way that makes it less enjoyable. Like I said, there is a lot happening in the screen. In this situation I normally don't have a good time due to the fact you will be dealt a lot of damage and attacked a lot. It caused me to die a bunch of times. You could argue that this game is about trial and error, but I think if they tried that they should try adding checkpoints, it would make paying gems less...Often. To get an idea, I didn't die in W1, I died once in W2, Thrice in W3, Five in W4, Nearly 15 in W5, 3 in W6 (i mean, it's filler anyways) and around 30 in W7. To my experience, all these deads and revives with gems weren't that fun, tho. The boss in W7 is my fav for now. I think the game is extremely centered around ranged **** that's not very good. In conclusion, it's cool if you know some way ****'t die very often. I think the story makes up for it but..Yeah I still think the gambling and grinding is not very good ****, this review is long. Yeah, I make long reviews...Sometimes. I think giving out the info in a detailed way (besides making the review longer) is a nicer way to have you know my experience with the game. Free mobile aRPG games are know for their p2w and not so good gameplay, but this one is know for using a fresh coat of paint with its pixelated artstyled and the funny as-You know what, you-re right I will just end the review right here it's too long and right there are only 183 characters remaining.

Honestly, I didnt buy this game. I technically didn't steal it neither. Actually I literally just decided to sleep into my friend's house because my parents would go into some Guns & Roses show in Brazil (im brazillian anyways) and he ended up having his very own copy of this very game. The ratings kinda suprised me, I was expecting it to be considered okay for the critics and users. Besides that, the character costumization is pretty cool. If you are having issues changing the gender of your character, you can just use the presets to do so. The open world is cool..Aswell as the spells. There is even a history, which is always apreciated in these kind of games. The first stealth mission is..Nice, sort off. It only tells that you can use an basic spell to distract people AFTER the first time its necessary. And when you are chossen an house (I got Hufflepuff THE UNDERDOGS SHALL LIVE and my friend told me that its the best house for focusing in the history) you get to chat with three other students from the same house, they become your friends...Thats what I WOULD have said if they were important for the history, from the time I played, only one had a mission for them, and IT WAS AN SECONDARY ONE! I am not mad, just dissapointed. Instead two students that contains an more important role (at least for me) is Natsai Onai (aka Natty) **** other one was a boy, I forgot his name, tho. Its sort off unpolished. I found an glitch that requires you to pause when getting knocked into the air, the game will think that you are still in that state and forgot that you had to fall too, so you start flying when you arent seeing it. There is also a door that leads to hogwarts, but for me I just clip out of bounds and fall endlessly in the void. The first boss (the ogre guy doesnt counts for me I have no idea whats his name for the american, I played on an brazillian version) is quite the tough cookie. If you want ANY kind of chance to survive, you need to destroy his energy orbs with ancestrial energy power thing. You need to throw the pots around the stage into the orb. Does the game tells you that, it only tells you it needs the ancestrial energy power thing, and not HOW to use it. But the biggest issue for me, is the level/spell requirements. They are a SIN for open world games. One time I almost got stuck because of that. Besides this, the game is nice. I like the combat, the prompt and slowdown for you to block or dodge attacks makes this game very begginer friendly. With all this in mind, I deemed the game OK, just OK. If you dont have a problem with level/spell requirements in these kinds of games, you will have an incredible time. The rest is already solved since you know how to defeat the first ****! If you want to avoid the door thing, you can just ALWAYS enter the castle via the front door.

Its great, it can get pretty challeging after a while but before that you can have a great time! The game starts slowly and if the level have 2 flags then you will actually have a good time destroying zombies after the first one. You can start and end a level pretty easily. It is free in my phone, but with ads but I don´t care because at this point every other mobile game have ads. It does have an low variety of zombie powers.

To be honest, EA was like "I don´t think Gollum is enough" so they made this. I am talking about the 2024 version because the 2025 version didn´t release the time I am doing this review. Heres the gameplay percentage: 50%: Actual PVZ gameplay 40%: Random useless waffling (I am telling why it is useless soon) 0.9%: Mo being an maniac (I mean, he ran over all these baby plants that there was meant to have, he ran over all these zombies and according to the bolts and robot things that you can choose as a pathway on the Zen Garden because this game have some Homescape gameplay, he probably ran over Penny too) 0.1%:TUGBOAT(this browncoat that talks and do stuff for Dr. Zomboss, he communicates saying "Tugboat")!!! Let me first talk about the graphics, it is very childish and bouncy, which doesn´t fits in with the genre (atleast is better than the green style for the 2025 release, I am talking about it in a while). The gameplay is PURE TRASH, the way that zombies kicks in in this game is NOT based on damage (which have been a stable in every game), instead is based on an annoying timer. But the game is NOT begginer friendly. Heck! It is probably not even AMATEUR friendly! The gameplay is somehow quicker than from the previous game, and you better know that it is VERY difficult. You can´t replay levels and the variety of zombie powerups is quite low. The game even have our fAvOrItE feature in mobile games! Micro-transactions and p2w aspects! I don´t need any further explanation! The cutscenes takes a HUGE part of the gameplay, I would care if the cutscenes included lore and stuff that would make an great part in the game but this isn´t a thing in this game. Mo is contaminated by Z energy? He can still run over zombies! Your choised an dirt path instead of penny´s corpse path? No problem! Crazy Dave forgot that it is needed to breath to survive? We can make through the game without him! So basically the game is just a huge waste of time, DON´T BUT THIS CRAP!

This game is literally my absolute favorite mario game of all time, and the reasons are many! It have a Mario 64 gameplay combed with a brand new spinning attack! You can use it to attack certain things (like rocks, on the red spot) and used in midair, you can get more altitude and time in air! There are a lot of good galaxies! I also really like the history, putting our goofy moustache hero in the mid of space is a great idea! Not the most original one, but still good! Most of the bosses are great! I simply can´t elaborate the game that much, I simply can´t explain a game in loads of detail if it is a masterpiece, like this one. This is not a perfect game, mainly because this kind of thing doesn´t exists. But since this is my favorite Mario game of all time, it is an 10.
