Fire Emblem: Awakening

Did you ever want a fire emblem game with endless amounts of battles and experience? Ever didn't like the pressure of losing your comrades in battle for good? How about being able to marry certain couples to each other and having a family? How about being able to recruit some units from past fire emblem games? Or wanting some extra bonus missions? Maybe you’ve wanted to play online versus some other human players? Yes? All that and more awaits in this remarkable Fire Emblem experience! So many characters to choose from each with a unique personality and charms as well as a variety of different classes to chose from. The story is quite long (got a good 15-20 hours’ worth) with a lot of twists that I wasn't expecting at all. For a handheld game it is absolutely mind blowing, the amount of detail, content and fan dedication that went into this just makes it outstanding. It has a ridiculous amount of replay-ability. One of my favorite things about this game is the relationships. You can unlock some interesting dialogues as well as getting certain characters married! And let’s just say marriage has very big benefits. I have easily put in 100hours into this game and I haven't been able to put it down. It is easily the best game I have played on the 3ds, as well as my new favorite game of the Fire Emblem series. If you’re a fan especially of Path of Radiance or Radiant Dawn, you will love this game. If you’re looking for a new tactical strategy game to play, then I promise you this game is for you. I am also warning you, this game will be surprisingly addictive.

Where do I even start with this game? First off, let me say that this game NEARLY killed my love for pc games and most of all, almost made me give up on video games as a whole. This "classic" has to be one of the most boring and ridiculously terrible controls of any action adventure game. Maybe try your luck on the playstation version, maybe its better, but let me tell you, the controls are so terrible that even some of the simplest moves are going to be an annoyance. Just jumping from platform to platform, it has to be PERFECT because anything SLIGHTLY done wrong will lead you to death or you'll have to redo everything you did. The graphic did not age nicely, you'll have a hard time trying to explore just trying to figure out what you can climb or where you can go to. The voice acting is barely even understandable and even if it was, the story of this so called adventure seems to be severely lacking, almost making each level progression unfulfilling. The ONLY redeeming quality about this game is that you can save the game at any moment, which makes it easy to take advantage of and necessary. Do **** favor, play the Tomb Raider Anniversary game instead of this one, it’s one of those rare moments when the remake is actually better than the original. Trust me. The new team that works on the Tomb Raider games is a blessing to this series.

Prince of Persia: Warrior Within

Prince of Persia is one of my favourite game series of all time, and I was really excited to play the second instalment of the series, "Warrior Within." I have many mixed feelings about this game, and there are just some things that really bother that I couldn't get over. For one thing, the prince in this game has a completely different personality, the atmosphere of this game is more darker then the last, and the lighthearted prince seems to have been completely lost in the dark when this title came out. Maybe Ubisoft was going for a more "cool" character thing, but that didn't really work out, people loved the charming personality from the prince in the first game. The story as well is much weaker here then it is in the first game, I can barely even remember what the story was. While playing the game, I felt really isolated, I miss having those little interactions with Farah, and the light humour. The gameplay as well is very glitchy. And I mean very glitchy, you may find yourself cursing at the screen because of it, you WILL die countless times from it. But the good thing is, it doesn't take away from the fun, there are still some challenging puzzles that will get you thinking. You still feel bad ass jumping and leaping from death defying heights. And the music in the game is awesome!! Some hard rock music that really fits the mood of the game. All in all, this game was a fun experience, but because of the glitches this gets a 6/10 from me. My least favourite game out of the current 5 games in the series. But that doesn't make it a bad game, in fact, I still recommend this game to any adventure game fan, and especially to fans of the PoP series.

Penny Arcade Adventures: Episode Three

I really love this game series and I have played all three of these games through and through. But this game is just too different from the last two, and unfortunately, it's not a very good thing. The biggest and most major difference is the style of the game. I actually loved the comic look style that the last two games had, but this game takes form of a 16-bit style game. As much as I don't have a problem with this sort of style, its been really overdone. On top of that, this game is no where near as funny as the last two games. Not once did I even chuckle at the ridiculousness of the story. In fact, I don't even remember the story at all. I barely even remember playing the game, because I just kept thinking to myself "please let this end soon." Even despite all these problems, the game is still somewhat fun to play and shows some interesting mechanics, it just gets old really quick. And I mean, really quick. If your a big fan of the series then go for it, but otherwise just ignore this title.

The Sands of Time, the magical game that brought the Prince of Persia series back to life. Undeniably one of the greatest adventure games ever made. The game has everything you need for an epic adventure; battle-ling ancient monsters, evading death traps, and solving some tough puzzles. If you screw up, no worries, you have quite a few chances to correct yourself. But that doesn't make the game any easier. The story line is top notch and makes room for some light hearted humour. No matter what way you look at this game, its an epic adventure.

I don't understand why people don't like this game. I personally found this game very entertaining. It had a very nice storyline that was easy to grasp, with easy gameplay mechanics. Sure, the game isn't a super open world type game but I sort of liked that, it kept you from mindlessly exploring and kept you focused on the story. I know this doesn't really work with most games, as I love to go exploring the world, but I felt it was properly placed in this game. The graphics are beautiful, and the level designs are quite basic with little puzzle solving involved. The characters have their own class types and personalities which help you connect better with the characters and itâ

To make this game really shine, you must play it with some friends. On its own it can still be fun but feels pretty lonely. The game is definitely unique as I have not heard of a FPS tower defense game except this one. The game is pretty simple to understand and easy to pick up. And when you play with more people, it just becomes interesting to see the different strategies all mixing together in one level. The game just keeps getting updated with new levels, new *and cheap* DLC. I would defiantly recommend this to anyone looking for some good Co-op fun.

For people who haven't played DotA, Heroes of Newearth or Rise of the Immortals, this game might prove to be a bit difficult. What really makes this game fun is playing with 4 of your friends as you take down the enemy team. If you're not a team player sort of person then don't touch this game. The game is constantly updated, new heroes are added every few weeks and glitches are fixed. The community isn't perfect, but I have met more friendly players than horrible ones. There is also a match making system which allows you to play with people of your own level, so that a new comer won't get their asses handed to them by casual players. The graphic aren't anything to brag about, but it certainly works for this type of game. If you don't have friends to play with, then the game can lose some of its value and become frustrating (after all, itâ

Well, where do I start with this game? Being a person who really enjoys his music you can imagine the excitement I felt when I heard about this game. Yeah sure, you have Guitar Hero and Rockband that feel more real than this game, but that is not the point of Audiosurf. This game was invented to play along to YOUR music. The music you like! This game won't satisfy your thirst for adventure or anything, but it will cure those moments when youâ
