It's a random generated dungeon game . It's not Dark Souls and thats fine's there's lots of weapons and armor loot with enough variation to keep it fun , the story is cloudy and comes in buts and pieces , it's not important but it's fun to follow the story and try to figure out the lore the combat is fun , not serious , the co-op is great , it's even better if you set up a chat with mic running in back ground , the game doesn't have voice chat option so you have to set one up with you're team mates outside of the game . there's little to no learning curve so anyone can play and do OK . I play with a joy pad I can't comment on keyboard/mouse controls because I prefer joy-pad for this game . controls are very easy to learn , there's a couple of dispersal attacks but the button combos are simple to master , overall a very fun solid co-op that you can play with people of varying skill levels and still have a blast , this is a great summer game that you can play with friends or co-op and make new online friends .. there's team damage friendly fire but PvP is not really something you want to do in this game as death is final if the entire party dies that's a rap it's game over , but that's ok because of the casual nature of the game-play starting over is not frustrating it's just part of the game ,, overall it's a well thought out casual dungeon hack and slash with enough depth to keep you interested and easy enough not to scare off casual players .

Im giving it a 10 to offset the idiots giving it a 0 because they can't tell the difference between a game for adults and a game for kids .. it's an adult themed game which somehow has become the golden unicorn of PC gaming lately, there's a huge audience of adult gamers who don't need to have there games filtered. I want a game that just like a horror movie can repulse me , but still hold my attention .. this game is sick and repulsive but still interesting .. overall the game may change the way you look at all other shooters by pulling back the thin veil of hypocrisy will view shooting games with . the same critics condemning this game will give the tell tale walking dead game a 10 because you know .. Zombies are ok to smash and crush and run over . even though it's the same graphical animation or worse. If Hatred was a zombie shooter nobody would have said anything , so I applaud them for going the route they did and hopefully if it's successful enough adult only content will start be profitable and we can get a lot better written games and characters.

bought it and was treated to $130 worth of DLC not included in the game.. the game is a DLC scam .. gameplay is maybe 5 there's no campaign no real replay after about a day .. Just Turtle Rock cashing in on the name they had after making L4D .. Scam game is a scam

poor performance , there is no reason besides just not caring about the consumer that a game of this caliber should run so poorly on a PC , the continued lack of dedicated servers for MP is another reason to stay clear of this mess

Very good game as good as they come , yes it could be even better if they flushed out the quests a little more and added some better loot and made some more coherent connections between completing a guild quest and the main quest but this is about as good as it gets and far better than all of the competition out there .

total disappointment waste of time , co-op doesn't connect single player is boring , no depth to anything just a button smasher that goes nowhere. great if your 9yrs old and a feeling of accomplishment only supplied by smashing buttons nonstop
