Game design wise, it's amazing. I love the more tech focused challenges that are included as extra padding, Personal preference wise it's ***** amazing and it controls like an absolute f**** dream, not even kidding the controls are so smooth it's crazy. Really my only complaint is it's not difficult enough. It hits basically every point of what good platformer should be, you got a decent level of difficulty, a nice story and some seriously badass characters and of course the game's waifu (very important). I would have given this 10/10 but I can't do that since difficulty wise it does lack for me. Keep in mind that is as someone coming in off the back of final horizon DLC and sonic unleashed so the difficulty for all other cases is probably exactly where it should be. PLAY THIS GAME OR YOU'RE PART OF THE IGNORANT MASSES!

Best game in the series for a while. Compile Heart definitely brought some life back to the series with this. The story is however a bit short and a serious gameplay balancing issue is present. There is also no Kurome (non impacting factor)

The best Neptunia game for a long time. Compile Heart have revived the series. The game does however run at relatively low FPS (at least on the PS4 Pro) and the story is somewhat short. The highlight for me was the post game content as that gave me a reason to continue playing for sig longer. There is also no Kurome (non impacting factor)

Excellent very difficult game. On the front of story it is decent but if you want a challenge this game is right up your avenue! Hard enough to even complete, insanely hard to obtain all achievements. Highly recommend! On the front of graphics... who cares about graphics anyway. (they're decent too I suppose). As a side note contrary to what the majority of negative reviews are saying, very little of this game is random. the objects never move and each enemy is weak to a particular set of inputs e.g. oobs are week to circular motion, missiles are weak to microtapping left or right in time. Takes practice but pracrtically every random aspect can be broken down to a hard but repeatable input sequence. Claiming this game is all random chance is entriely a skill issue.

In the setting of every game released, this game is good but not excellent (a rating of 7.3 is a perfect justification) but don't let that put you off. If you are already familiar with Nep and her friends this game is the height of the Neptunia franchise! it's filled with amazing references, 4th wall breaks and genuinely hilarious moments that if you're a Nep fan you'll love. The gameplay is also significantly better than any other installment. There is also some pretty challenging post-game content if you are a completionist. You'll also get a nice visual thank you gift at the end for finishing if that's your thing. All I can say is if you love the Nep, go get this one!
