Shadow Warrior8
Sep 28, 2013
Better than Bioshock Infinite. Yes, you heard right. Shadow Warrior is in every way better than Infinite except one: story. Admittedly, the latter is a bit weak, yet the length of the game as well as the awesome combat system more than make up for that. A couple of small bugs don't distract you from the experience. Every battle, every boss fight is satisfying. When slicing through a man, you get that personal feedback. Infinite? Meh. Goes off big bang and you don't get any feeling.

Ride to Hell: Retribution0
Jun 27, 2013
Playing this game indeed a ride to hell in the worst possible sense. The art is awful, especially the faces. The cutscenes are atrocious, the voice acting is mediocre. The graphics are extremely outdated, it's like playing something from 2002. The driving is bugged. The story is not worth mentioning. Stay away from this piece of trash, you'll be so disappointed that you'll want to seek retribution. The developers have hired shills to post paid reviews (see Beemo's review, 10/10). There is no way in hell that this game could objectively be rated even close to 10/10. STAY AWAY!

1) Completely lacks balance. Anyone with armor is basically invulnerable to the only starting soldier that a new player can have. Most players already have armor, so if you've just started, you are effed. Armor and shields do not deteriorate 2) No single player campaign 3) Performance is horrible even on good systems. The game is not optimized to use your GPU properly, utilizing only about 40% of it. 4) Extremely simplistic and boring gameplay. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GAME!!!

Metacritic had the audacity to delete my review, so I'm posting it again. Guess what, it's still a contender for WORST GAME OF THE YEAR AWARD! ZERO POINTS

L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition8
Nov 11, 2011
A solid game plagued by a few issues: 1) letterboxing on monitors with 5:4 aspect ratio 2) severe stuttering on some systems despite requirements being met (can be fixed by using the command line arguments -npd -str)
3) interface could be better
4) a big city, but very little to do

Massive bugs, broken career mode missions, awful controls and unrealistic flight dynamics make this anything but a simulator. You will experience hours of frustration trying to tackle missions that have broken scripts. You will facepalm when you realize that it's easier to control the copters with mouse and keyboard than it is with a joystick, because the game registers joystick inputs incorrectly. You will be disappointed by the limited **** interactivity. The only good thing in this typical poor attempt from Bohemia is the beautifully detailed, but limited Seattle scenery. Beware of this turd. If you're into flying civilian choppers, FSX is still the best thing on the market, has better controls, functionality and more available third-party content.

A disaster. It exposes the buzzword "megatexture" for what it is -- a complete lie. There is nothing mega about this game except the mega bugs and the mega graphical issues and the mega ugly textures.

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad7

The negative reviews are grossly exaggerated. The game is off to a somewhat shaky start what with some bugs, the dysfunctional stat system and the strange single player AI. But the problems are not nearly as game-breaking as some people say. The minimum score this game should receive is 6. I will give it an 8 because I like it and it runs surprisingly well on nearly the highest settings on my medium-end PC. RO2 offers good graphics, realistic atmosphere, big, insanely detailed maps, intense firefights and a good middle ground between simulation and arcade gameplay.
