The beggining is rough, but after a bunch of hours spent roaming Pywel, the experience tend to become amazingly rich and engaging. Hours are piled up without the player being conscient of it. The game gives an impression of Skyrim back in the days when we were spending hundreds of hours exploring that huge world full of secrets and mysteries. The cherry on the top of the cake is the visuals that are globaly stunning at times with breathtaking panoramas. I said globaly because sometimes the rendering of the shadows and lightings can be weird so it's not perfect but overall it's beautiful anyway. The only cons are some aspects of the fighing gameplay (lock system is flawed and can be infuriating at times) and the UI that is heavy imo. 8/10

This is a big let down for a game with 10 years of development. I expected a more refined rpg aspect with so much time put in the creation of this game. There is just a little skilltree, no inventory, no character sheet, nothing that remind you of the tabletop rpg. The graphics are mid, not horrible but not refined with some blurry textures on certain **** only good point is the athmosphere at moments that is pretty good. Give this franchise to Owlcat Games or Larian Studios.

Comme le fut It Takes Two en son année, ce jeu devient immédiatement mon GOTY 2025. Il est parfait, je n'ai rien à lui redire. Les graphismes sont sublimes, l'histoire est prenante, le gameplay est varié et toujours bien pensé, les musiques font toujours mouche et bordel, la direction artistique est de haute volée. La variété des situations fait qu'on ne s'ennuie pas une seconde. De plus, il est blindé de ref à d'autres licences connues du jeu vidéo. Ce jeu est tout simplement un chef d'œuvre et est aux antipodes de ce que nous proposent les gros studios depuis deux ou trois ans. Ils préfèrent pousser leurs idées politique plutôt que de se concentrer sur le fun, le divertissement et le gameplay. Heureusement qu'il reste des studios comme Hazelight pour créer des vrais jeux vidéo.

This game literally destroyed the lore of Dragon Age. Rewriting the functioning of societies and the appearance of the species that populate Thedas. A lot of things that we can see or hear in the game have never been mentioned, seen, experienced in any of the old games. As a fan from the start I sincerely feel hurt to have to give such an opinion on the new episode of one of my favorite licenses.

SAO FB is an addictive game that will delight the fans of the license. Playing an original character instead of Kirito is a good thing imo. In the old games I had trouble creating a character too far from his appearance because I knew that the other characters considered our avatar as Kirito (making a girl was, for exemple, was impossible for me). Problem solved here. The gameplay is quite complete with a lot of features to optimise our character and offers a lot of customization options. Too bad that the A.I is so badly coded and the multiplayer so anecdotal (not a single coop dungeon or real PVP mode? In a PVP mmorpg simulation? WTF?). Those mistakes makes the game lose two points on the note that I would give him.
