live service slop. bad character design, boring style in general, no single player. why did this have to be Marathon? Sony spent a fortune to make an okay extraction shooter that could have done well if it wasn't related to Marathon. extraction shooters are kinda niche, Sony is chasing a trend that's already settled and established. Marathon should have been along the lines of Doom 2016. a single player revival of a classic treated with respect. the Marathon we got is meant to make Sony money and nothing more. I'm not a Destiny fan but I feel bad for them too. p.s. games reliant on online services have an expiration date and I can't recommend ever "purchasing" live service or DRM required content.
