The best game ever... everything is PERFECT! Sure there is some bugs but still this game is perfect.

Great expansion of the base game. will please those who had few outer worlds. Satire on corporatism and a lot of loot

Good DLC for Deadfire. It adds a new island with a couple of side-quests and a pretty extensive main questline, along with new loot and enemies. This isn't a full-fledged expansion, so it doesn't add any new companions or increase the level cap but it's a good 5-10 hours of content (depending on your difficulty setting). It also expands the lore and gives you more insight into important historical figures. Overall, Beast of Winter is a well-designed and well-written addition that should appeal to anyone looking for more Deadfire.

Finished pillars of eternity 1 as a priest of berath, pledging my soul to the god of cycles, life and death. Promising to release the thousands of captured souls back to the wheel of reincarnation at the end of the game. Started pillars of eternity 2, only to find out I was murdered after the events of the first game by a god who was believed to have been slain during the saints war. My soul then comes face to face with the god I have devoted my life to, the god of life, death, and reincarnation. After a brief discussion about how I kept my promise at the end of the first game, my favoured god revealed to me he wants me to come back to life and serve him once again, and slay the being that killed me. I refused. It is only right that my soul is allowed to be reborn and return to the cycle, as I have worshipped this diety my whole life. My god agreed. I was reborn as a wolf and the credits of Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire started to roll. Pretty short game but 10/10
