Brawlhalla5

While Brawlhalla is fun and different from Smash, I( as someone who has played 30+ hours of Brawlhalla and have gotten to the best level) always find myself wanting to play Smash, There’s not much to say about it, except that it gets repetitive if you don’t know what you’re doing, and when it gets fun competitively, Smash gets more fun.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate10

“No matter how you slice, this game has the most smash for your buck”. This sentence is simply the most accurate way to describe this masterpiece. From the single-player content, which is repetitive at times, and likely the worst part of the game, to the 70 Character roster, to the stages, to the character unlocking, every aspect of Sakurai’s newest game just scream “Ultimate”. That said, if you don’t like Smash Bros. , this game isn’t doing anything to change that. It is truly made for both fans and newcomers.

Mario Tennis Aces10

Brimming with charm, originality and depth to it's mechanics, Aces more than makes up for it's slight lack of content at launch with great, addicting and deep gameplay that will surely keep me coming back for months on end. That said, it has relatively mediocre tutorials, but like many fighting games, you'll discover everything by playing. ONLINE: Great at times, but could be improved upon. Is defitely better than the demo though, and I have never disconected or suffered major lags, but finding a match can take up to 6 minutes. It lacks some features, but knowing Nintendo, they bring them later.

It's an enjoyable videogame, and incredible fun, especially near the end. Although level design isn't perfect when compared to other similar 2d platformers, the boss battles are this game's highlight, and I've spent over 50 hours fighting the boss rush mode.

Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido10

Sushi Striker: Way of Sushido is a creative and incredibly fun videogame. It's not a piece of art, although it has a fun, light-hearted and creative plot, but that's okay: this game is not made to be taken seriously. It's not the big single-player epic, but it's a near flawless action-RPG-puzzler videogame, and it fits the switch fantastically. This game, whatsoever, is not for everyone, but for those who enjoy it, it's a masterpiece. Since there hasn't really been any game like this before, I recommend anyone interested to check the free demo in the Nintendo Switch EShop( although personally I think the 3DS version is superior in almost every way besides graphics). A common complaint among people who haven't played the game is the price, but this game is well worth 50 Dollars. I've played the game non-stop(14 hours), and I'm about 20% in the story mode. There is also online play, beautiful graphics and a concept never found in any game before. (It has nothing to do with bad Match-3 mobile games).

Super Mario Odyssey10
Dec 14, 2017
The game is fun all the way through. It oozes creativity, and besides the fact that if you watched all the trailers you won't see many new kingdoms, each kingdom( especially New Donk City) is so different and fun to move around that it's worth every dollar, and there is SO much to do and unexpected things to find in them. Most kingdoms also have some very unique captures, which, unlike most games , are all fun( besides one of them which i'll not spoil). By the way, Mario's movement options are so fantastic (you can even beat the game without jumping!) and diverse that even in the late game when you're trying to collect the 800+ power moons it is still(mostly) fun. Also, 99% of this game's power moons are rewarding and feel really good to collect(besides 4 of them). This game ISN'T too easy: The main campaign won't be tough, I'll admit , but it's really fun, and go past that and you'll find some really tough-but-fair moments, which are equally as fun, and since the campaign isn't long, you won't have to wait much to get to the challenge( but if you try to complete this game, which the developers really make you want to, it won't take more than 70 hours). Super Mario Odyssey pleases every Super Mario fan( besides the Mario maker ones ):Galaxy, 3d World , 3d Land, 2d fans will have great pure-platforming sections and clear goals, 64 and Sunshine fans will have exploration and collect-a-thon gameplay( you can just skip the goals and have just as much fun), Mario Sports/Party Fans will have tons of (mostly) fun minigames. This game is just suited for any playstyle, and you'll have fun in any way you want to play, and anywhere, since this game is well-suited for short gameplay, due to the power moons , and for long sections, due to the huge kingdoms that don't make you quit them when you collect a mission, making it kinda of addicting, since you will originaly be looking for one goal and suddenly you'll find another moon, then another, then another... However, the game isn't flawless. The nowhere platforming gauntlets are really great in level design, but the least creative in the game, even compared to 3d Land or the New Super Mario Bros. series, but they are still **** parts where you don't have cappy are really annoying, and forced and unresponsive motion controls( which would have been OK in the days of the Wii ,but this is the Switch, and even when you're are clearly playing it in handheld mode or with the Pro Controller the game still shows tutorials( which is another problem, the game shows tutorials even when you are in the final kingdom, but not as frequent as something like Skyward Sword)of actions you can only do with the split joycon ,which turns it somewhat frustrating),and the Co-op mode feels really rushed and unpolished,so if you want to play with your friend, you should look elsewhere (even Mario Galaxy's is better). With that said, this game is really worth-buying,despite these negatives, and the campaign is aproximately the same length as this review.
